@@jeffboyce2426 brother Jeff..as you remember James Silas was known as the late great James Silas?.oh those knee injuries....the same with Willie Wise..unfortunately 2020 medical knowledge didn't exist in the 1970s.....
@@kenneth7826 Yes Kenneth Titley Jimmy Si was winning many games late in the shot clock and late in the fourth quarter the first time I met the Iceman I told him I look like James Silas and Ice laughed so hard but I was deeply hurt when Si had those 2 knee injuries and the broken ankle till this day it still bothers me I've been a Spurs fan since February 1974
Also I remember when my oldest brother was still alive he used to always tell me that my twin brother James Silas played on 1 leg at the end of his career was still great and to never forget that and Fly Williams who played for the St Louis Spirits used to tell us that when Si would get in the lane Si would always grunt and the refs would always call a foul on the opposing team and some of the opposing players would call Si grunt as a nickname
@@jeffboyce2426 great story...not many people can claim to have seen any ABA games.....it was an outstanding league..unfortunately no money..no network...Fly Williams...Wow!,,,PEACE my brother..wear your mask
I followed Ice his whole career I was at the hof when he was inducted may 6 1996

He made it look so easy ;)
The Iceman and Maravich had the most array of shots that I've seen...
Westphal had a lotta stuff too.
Who was better Ice man or Alex English ?
@@aw144k9 They are the same person. Ever seen them in the same room at the same time? Me neither.
Ice had 29 at the half lol. Imagine that he had 33 in a QUARTER one game.
