they did ..kind of, concept car and some collaborate with other , but they did car development all the time with other auto manufacturer, develop car engine and production, even F1 engines back to 80s 90 ,but not that successful , but in motogp ,yamaha great, they very good at two wheels than 4 wheels i guess.

Yamaha trumpets are top notch. I also have this Pacifica. It is the most underrated beginners guitar out there.

Please make a modern-classic specs one. Pacifica's radius seems too flat and feels too tired to playing chords. 10" would be nice, but compound (9.5-12) will be the best specs ever. So many session players are using Pacifica. And also 2 pivots bridge will be an awesome swaps too.
