The Valley of the Shih Tzu‘s, Fires, Wind, Pistachios and Lava. Roswell to White Sands to Cloudcroft

A great start to our vacation Dad! We get gas and visit the pet friendly Roswell, New Mexico on our way to the Valley of the Fires to camp in an ancient Lava Flow. Briefly visit Smokey the Bear. Photo the largest Pistachio. Avoid a National Park - White Sands Closed?! Then Cloudcroft, NM. My favorite new town. And I get confused at the Mexican Trestle Railroad. Did I mention the M’fn Railroad?!
