As much as Nintendo knocked it out of the park with this game, it boggles my mind how complicated they made flair. Just have it apply to the card in 1 click, and be able to see it everywhere!
Here's another tip: for cards of rarity 1-4 diamonds, the order in which fairs are unlocked (and their cost in dust) is random. Other players may not have the same order. (Personally, for the Ponyta, I can buy the same flairs, but in a different order than you).
I don't know about 1-3 stars and crowns, but that's probably also the case for dust prices. In short, if you're lucky, you can get the flair you prefer on the cheapest location.
Battle Flairs only appear when the card is first played while Cosmetic Flairs stay the whole time, that's why Battle ones don't show in binders, you aren't "playing" them. I was curious about the number of the same flair you can get and if there is a max where you have all the flairs you can get for a single card. At first I assumed that it would stop at 2 but then binders exist with a Max of 30 Cards, so I wonder if the game will stop you from buying a single flair more than 30 times.
If you equip a flair, can you later unequip it to apply it somewhere else like say, another binder? I have unlocked flair for Ivysaur and Sandshrew but never applied because even the spark seems to have a cost, I’m guessing this is to unlock a second copy of the first flair. Am I correct in thinking that after first unlocking flair, that you get one use of the basic flair but would need to get a second for say, the second copy of the card in your deck? Would seem to also apply to the same single card in every deck. I’m also worried that flair could be lost somehow if unequipped As I understand from your video, first unlocking flair will result in a single basic spark for one copy of the card, but only in either a single deck or binder and not to same card in multiple decks or binders. So if I would want to flair both copies of the card in my deck, I suppose I would need to uses of the same flair. And if I wanted two flared cards in a single binder than I would also need two unlocks of the same flair?
Flairs are reusable once exchanged. You won't lose them when changing binders or decks. But you'll need to get the flair twice to use in the same deck twice.
Fair point. We have no idea how trading will be implemented yet, so I can't make recommendations on that end. If it will cost a lot of shine dust to trade (e.g. crown rares might cost more to trade), some might not want to trade anyway. There'll likely be restrictions/costs in place for trading to prevent abuse from alt account rerolling.
@Bropenings so hold off anyway, flair isn't going anywhere and there's no benefit other than doing it one time for the mission. If the trading system IS hyper restrictive, then I don't see this game lasting too long. Even if it costs dust, that resource is better spent to obtain new content rather than cosmetics. Just my two cents
Ngl, I'd rather get hourglasses for the 3rd copy instead of these cosmetics. It's not likely to get 3+ copies of the crown cards and I don't want flairs to my low rarity mons
I've never really felt a need to extend a video longer than needed. However I do feel the need to ensure the basics are covered before explaining more complicated concepts which you can see happens with flairs.
but do the flairs have any effects on the card.. as that would give a reason to upgrade fairs to the next tier if they did help.. like gave you a +5 dam or cp etc
Wait for trading instead of wasting duplicates on flair.
True
Yep I only did the challenges and that was it. They look ugly too
Flairs are probably intended FOR trading. Check out my next video coming in an hour to understand.
is it this? th-cam.com/video/jWizXMoVQDw/w-d-xo.html
Thank you! I was so confused about not being able to put the Flair on my card. This video answered all my questions, plus some I didn't have yet.
Answering the questions you didn't know you had is my forte

Honestly it's so dumb not to let you equip the flair right when you unlock them. After unlocking the flair I want it in everything.
I'm not 100% certain but I think the reason is so you can equip different flairs on whichever deck you want them.
"where is the flair ?!" Haha that was killing me 😂
That’s for the information, I hope they make this less annoying in the future
Great video man, didn’t knew how to do it
also need to craft multiple flairs if you want to add it to another copy in your deck.
this flair mechanic has to be one of the most confusing thing in any mobile game ever

Sorry for the triple post. I checked my 1-star electrode, and indeed, the order is different. The flair you bought costs 750 dusts for me! 😅
Oh interesting. I'll look into it some more thanks.

I'm not sure! Haven't got that many cards to test lmao
Nice video, im very much expecting the release date to try this new game 😊

Thank you. Now I just put flairs on common cards.
Gotto flex those commons
Here I am thinking that it is a bug coz I cannot put flare on my 1 star Squirtle even though I already have 2 pcs.😂😂
I would recommend holding onto extra cards to trade rather than dusting them for flair. Overall, it's better for the games economy.

The only flair worth spending for is for Prof Reserch
Or Pokeball
This dude is really trying to squeeze out that 10 minute video lol

Thank you so much my loveeeee❤
you're welcome

Not at all. Flairs are aesthetics only.
thank you!
Thank you
Good to know
nice info
I cant buy the flair I have 4 Copies but I need only 3 and it dont work
I explained in the video you must have 2 remaining after exchanging for flair. So you need 1 more copy for that card to get flair.
@Bropenings I need 3 and have 4 but it doesnt work
@@SaskeMilo you need 5 to work
@Bropenings ohhh
Nice video
Thank you. The game is horrible at explaining.
Do you lose flair with trading? (Probably)
Doesn't seem so. Flair is not attached to the card unless you select it and equip it.
So can you use the cosmetic flairs in battle?
Yes, visible when u zoom in on the card
Is flair beneficial in battle or is it just cosmetic in battle?
Cosmetic only
