Unlike most of the celebrities who went under the knife, she was extremely beautiful to begin with. Surgery simply enhanced her beauty as she aged but didn't change her look at all. I'm so jealous.
She looks natural to me. Aging gracefully & at the same time, looks very much like herself. If she did have some work done (and they usually do in Hollywood,) she had a very good plastic surgeon. She hardly looks like she's been touched.
@@ALT-vz3jn I know. Jolie's health issues aside and the proleptic surgeries she had to have and endure (for which I wish her well), it is rather silly to talk of 'natural beauty' when Jolie hit the plastic surgery table in her 30s and has continually been going back for more. If she is someone's idea of great beauty, well and good (personally I never found her all that appealing), but a 'natural beauty' she is most definitely not.
I appreciate this … coming from a plastic surgeon like you, I am absolutely fascinated how you were able to look for these subtle changes. She looks absolutely fabulous and I agree with everyone that she has at least remained herself so to speak. But it is eye-opening and so so informative for someone who may be wanting to make changes themselves. Thank you again
I appreciate how you speak really specifically about landmarks on the face, such as how much of her teeth show when she smiles, 08:22 about signs around the ear and baby hairs that she may have had a facelift, etc. Some other commentaries about celebrities will say things like "her brows look higher" but without taking into account the fact you can just draw your eyebrows on higher, makeup contouring, lighting, so on.
Angelina is so naturally beautiful with a spectacular bone structure that through the years a few plastic interventions were needed to maintain her stunning features. Everything is subtle and on the conservatory side of the spectrum. Plastic surgery at it best. 😎😍

I don’t really think Angelina looks young just really beautiful. Like when she was young she looked much older than she was especially when she was in her mid 20s and I don’t think she looks especially young now she just looks really beautiful and unique anyway.
I agree. She's always looked older but was still stunning young and old. To me as she aged she kind of has gotten more of an elegant and regal look to her which many people don't have.
I love how very little makeup she has on and all of these pictures. She's such a beautiful woman with no makeup or a lot of makeup it doesn't matter. He's just stunning
I agree and can attest to that! I was an avid sun-worshipper all throughout my 20s and into my late 30s and never once used sunscreen. But following a diagnosis of an autoimmune disease that requires me to avoid sun, I started using sunscreen and never stay out in direct sunlight and my skin has aged reversely. It's incredible! People tell me I look younger than I did 10 years ago. So there's a silver lining to everything...
I mean let's face it, a perfectly cut diamond isn't going to lose its beauty as the years pass. And she started out with pretty much a perfect face. A few tiny tweaks, that's all she'd ever need. I always wonder what it would be like to go through life being that naturally knockout stunning.
there is a huge difference between 2018 and 2019 and it seems that she had a kind of facelift. or maybe because of some filler? she has stated to become a specific arteficial "line" under her cheeks frpm the mouthto the ears as she had got i tucked. she started to get this typical after nip tuck look which become very strange over years.
(timestamp 5mins in) I feel like pregnancy and post pregnancy will heavily alter the face too. I remember my sister's face looking dramatically different throughout the phases of pregnancy and it took a solid year-ish too for her face to appear how it had prior to the birth of her child. I just think people forget how much water retention and fat a baby can give or take from you and water retention will heavily effect how the face appears. it's one of the ways my partner can tell if i have eaten gluten (as a celiac) my face (and body) will bloat heavily and i look significantly different.
I was thinking this too. I've always been slim, but I became really thin after giving birth to my first child! I was pretty fit before getting pregnant, with a lot of muscle, but I guess I lost that during pregnancy and maybe I had some water retention going on that masked the actual weight loss. Almost immediately after giving birth I looked weirdly super-thin. I think breastfeeding took it a lot out of me as well. Angelina's face could well be thinner after having had her first child!
She is aging just very well. We all age and growing old is a privilege we don’t all get to experience. To all those who say it is torture to age just burtied my grandfather on the 9th he was 101. He met his grandkids his great grandkids and we all lived him at certain times of our lives. The memories you can make in 101 years you wouldn't believe how many precious memories can be made.
She's stunningly beautiful but having a facelift is not ageing "just very well." Otherwise, there wouldn't have been a reason for something as invasive and aggressive as a facelift.
I *really* appreciate that you point out make-up contouring, photo angle and possible editing. @7:04 I'm seeing an narrow indent down the bridge that looks different than makeup application which can occur after a decade of rhinoplasty as the nose surgery settles. I'm also seeing the left side of her nose a little more recessed, which could also be from rhinoplasty settling, but maybe also the light seems to be coming from the opposite direction so maybe it's shadow from lighting.
Angelina is gorjeous. Inside and outside. I am proud of her as a mother, as a woman and also as great human being. She can look whatever she looks and will still be a beautiful person.👏👏👏
Her uncle is named Chip Taylor. She gets her humanitarian influence from him. Chip is a musician and totally different from Jon Voight who is his brother. Jon Voight has been an arse for somtime.
I think a big problem is her ongoing eating disorder and the loss of body fat overall. It has made her much more gaunt in the face than she might have been otherwise, and between that and her smoking cigarettes, it's aging her quite a bit these days. Bad habits do catch up to us all in time.
As you age you also lose body fat and elasticity, so with her eating disorder her face around the cheek area became more hollow. Sometimes the makeup countering around that area make it look more sharp and softer on the upper cheeks (especially when she smiles). Overall she’s beautiful.
@@watchinvidzwatchinvidz7691 My sisters are in their late 40s and early 50s. They all look 20 years younger. No sagging, no hollowing, no drooping. Millions of people still have a baby face well into middle age. It's not rare.

Angelina and Jennifer Lopez must have went to the best plastic surgeon in the world. They both look fantastic and hid any cosmetic surgery they had pretty well. Knowing my luck, I would come out of surgery looking like Jocelyn Wildenstein.

it's good to see a professional's take on this. i saw a video from another youtuber claiming that she had had cheekbone and jaw implants and i didn't think that that was the case
I'm not surprised at all that Angelina has had very little work done. She's always been incredibly genuine and independent. It also helps that she hit the genetic lottery.
Thanks for another great video. Could you do a video on Serena Williams. Her face has changed so much over the years. Would luv to know if it's her natural progression of aging.
I’m suspicious if her face changes have something to do with steroid use or something along those lines - I saw a video of her from 2003 and she looked gorgeous and SO DIFFERENT- like not even the same person - she also had a noticeable smaller frame
Ohh face lift before 50. Gosh .. I’m still absolutely in love with her . She’s gorgeous .. I’m also sitting here wondering here what you’d say about my face .. .. in 2017 at age 40 , she has had significant facial droop.. now at age 44 …. ??? She spent all her life in the sun . An example of what not to do.. with significant facial jowling happening around this time .. sigh..
Great video! Angelina looks fab. Whatever work she’s has done was perfect; she looks natural and refreshed. I’m guessing she takes good care of her skin regularly. (Minor correction: you said that her first child was born in 2006 (Shiloh). Angelina became a mom in 2002 when she adopted her son, Maddox.)
@@misslala1377 I'm aware, but the language was "she became a mother in 2006". my point is that she was _already_ a mother prior to 2006. Maddox (and the others who are adopted) is just as much her child as the ones she was pregnant with.
She has been always a roll model to me. I have always loveded her as a person at all the stages of her life. Whatever she may have done is how it should be done, preserving the looks and mininmal when necessary not doing a make over and not looking like herself at all.
I think the upper blepharoplasty was a bad choice or it was done too aggressively. It makes her look so harsh compared to the soft look when she was younger. Same goes for Charlize Theron.
She also lost a considerable amount of weight between her twenties and into her forties. I think that should be taken into account for Her cheek bones being so prominent. Still a very beautiful woman who ages nicely
Dr can you please analyze Avril Lavigne? She’s in her late 30s and seems to be a vampire. My guess would be a rhinoplasty when she was younger, but her skin stumps me. Avril claims her skincare is simply staying out of the sun.
That would be an interesting video. As a 42 year old that has to bring her ID with her to buy wine, I can certainly vouch for Avril with respect to protecting your skin from the sun. I had skin cancer (melanoma) at 23 years old so I have to be careful with the sun but I'm a natural night owl from the north of Scotland so it's not such a big sacrifice for me!
She had a recent boob job, which I was shocked she did given she has an autoimmune illness (lymes) breast implant illness is so common and would effect her more than likely. I noticed on her FB pics from a photo shoot. I'm sure she's had filled and botox as well
People wont believe how just by avoiding the sun most of ur lifetime can payoff later...i always get guessed at age around 25 when people see,but when they see my oldest son(12) with me they ask and qre shocked when i say 42 and im too brooke for surgery😅🤣
I live in Central Europe and I stay out of the sun in summer and wear SPF50 every day. Add to that good genes and I look ten years younger. I’m in my 30s. Some people just get lucky.
I love Angelina Jolie and think she has always been beautiful , as she just has good genes and good bone structure. The minimal amount of work she had done i couldnt tell up until now and she will always be beautiful .God bless her always.🌹💖💖🎉

I am doing facial training for more than three years via a viber groupc- started during COVID. An hour of training/week of all the muscles of the face, namely 7 major areas. It is amazing how it lits the face. Its not a commercial - but as I can see actresses are strugelling compensating gravity. Gravity can be fight against with strenthening the natural muscle structure of the face. Just like any other kind of workout. Cheers!
Hey Dr. Gary, I noticed that your eyebrows, eyelashes, and moustache are growing back! Have you been using medication that helped with this hair growth? Or did they come back with just the allergy shots? Would love an update on your alopecia! :)

Have you ever tried vitamins? Like a hair, skin and nails branded vitamin. Specifically of/with Biotin. I know I am kind of sensitive to things and even tho sometimes is a bit pricy to find one that my stomach agrees with, they are overall great and SO majorly worth it !! I got some gummy ones and it was just like a daily woman’s vitamin and I noticed a huge difference with the shedding, quality and growth even. As long as I was consistent with them they really helped like even the health like the overall looked almost radiant? I’m not sure how exactly to describe that lol but I think you should just see about that and maybe try to see if it makes any difference with you, because I highly approve and recommend.. to anyone, everyone actually. My brother said he notice his nails growing more which just annoyed him (which like???) but uh yeah at least to me it was actually really great lol so y’all should try that.

Healthy ? it does not show , whether she is healthy or not. Pretty ? yes, she is, with or without the plastic procedures. People who have their faces in the camera have to suffer these procedures. It is how they make their millions.....They also try to defy age.
She's been skeletally thin often and that for sure will have some effect on how old her face looks at the time. I think Brat Pit said she was just not eating.
She is beautiful- both as a young woman and as she's moved into her years. That said, I noticed a significant change after age 23 in the cheeks and jawline that I'm surprised weren't called out in this video. This is where I think Angelina had help in her transformation from beautiful young woman to one of the greatest beauties of all time. No judgement if it was outside intervention, it's actually reassuring that it could be achievable for more people. And if anyone has her surgeon's info to share, I'd be interested for myself ;)
At 5:52 you mentioned how a reduction in bone density held an equivalence with a loss of bone volume. I wasn't aware of that as I assumed the loss of density simply results in a weaker structure rather than a different morphology. Or, does this loss in density manifest as an inability of the skeletal structure to maintain it's shape?
Very good point that people look different depending on how a photo was taken, I remember at some point there was a big trend in gossip media to depict Angelina badly, they obviously picked up the worst photos, on your choice it is visible how subtle the changes really were. I think what often happen to celebrities who become famous at young age is that people expect them to look like teenagers forever.
Around the age of 38, Angelina begins to have a mature look. She has a cigarette addiction, a nutrient & caloric-deficient diet, had surgeries to address a precancerous condition, & 3 vaginal births. Angie toggled motherhood (of 6 children), a failing marriage (& ensuing litigation), being an employer, duties as a UN ambassador to war zones as well as a career in the film industry. She could've certainly afforded a facelift, in recent years. But that procedure would have addressed her under-eye wrinkles @ 9:26
She admittedly had two c-sections for her three kids. The last two of which were fertility fraternal twins. So, both pregnancies ended up with c-section births. She never gave birth to any baby vaginally.
DR. LINKOV, you have said that bone loss is common with aging. I have read an article about how this happens to WHITE people more and almost none in black people. It seems to be true when looking at many African or AfAM actors and actresses... could you make a video on that? Looking at people like JPS, Angela Bassett etc. it's fairly obvious they have a greater bone structure than white people. How does the aging process differ between people? I think this is a topic - touchy subject - but something that many many people find interesting. A lot of false information gets floated around the internet as kitchen psychology talking points ("black don't crack", "crackers crack", "asian don't raisin" and so on). Would love to get the expertman's opinion on it. Salud edit: PS: DR. LINKOV, as you can see, many people commenting my comment, different opinions about melanin and olive skin floating around. THIS PROVES that this is such an interesting topic to many, with many different private theories in the heads of internet people.

Agree. Crazy how ppl scrutinize to the T. She looks like she's had minimal to nothing done. Some ppl age very minimally till they hit about 60.
Sounds like you didn’t watch the video
👍👍💯💯 The surgery she's had done is subtle. I like that! Angelina still looks like herself.
Her nose job is very obvious to me.

@DeeCee some black & Latina women actually DO use olive oil and it works! Age naturally better than white women too tho.

Angelina is beautiful before and after and in-between. She is remarkable and is a great humanitarian.

Her skin has always been so pretty !! I have never seen her with a tan , so I bet a lot of it staying out of the sun
I mean let's face it, a perfectly cut diamond isn't going to lose its beauty as the years pass. And she started out with pretty much a perfect face. A few tiny tweaks, that's all she'd ever need. I always wonder what it would be like to go through life being that naturally knockout stunning.
Right?
Yes. Beautiful bone structure, eyes and mouth. I don't think she needed very much, however that didn't stop Megan Fox from messing with her looks.
Spot on mate
I never saw the hype when I was young, but now I appreciate how stunning she actually is
I second your comment
Her image was so vampy and overly sexualized back then that it was all I could see on her. Now she allows her natural beauty to take center stage.
there is a huge difference between 2018 and 2019 and it seems that she had a kind of facelift. or maybe because of some filler? she has stated to become a specific arteficial "line" under her cheeks frpm the mouthto the ears as she had got i tucked. she started to get this typical after nip tuck look which become very strange over years.
You absolutely right! I was two different person before and after pregnancy

Love Angie and love how respectful and informative this video was ❤️
She is aging just very well.
Ah yes. Cause plastic surgery is a part of her aging well. ugly sknk only used in showbizz to get tossed around
Aziza well said
She's stunningly beautiful but having a facelift is not ageing "just very well." Otherwise, there wouldn't have been a reason for something as invasive and aggressive as a facelift.
Its not a privilege at all,its a burden 🤢💀☠️😒
@@girlfullofsorrow Agreed!
Wow, good eye!
She's plastic
I think a big problem is her ongoing eating disorder and the loss of body fat overall. It has made her much more gaunt in the face than she might have been otherwise, and between that and her smoking cigarettes, it's aging her quite a bit these days. Bad habits do catch up to us all in time.
Yes but she ulso had alot of health problems
She's in her forties..You look like her in your forties. You wish you did. She looks great surgeries or not. .

@linanicolia1363 So, Jocelyn Wildenstein didn't have enough money for a good plastic surgeon?
it's good to see a professional's take on this. i saw a video from another youtuber claiming that she had had cheekbone and jaw implants and i didn't think that that was the case

She morphed into beauty. She came into her looks as she matured even if it’s some cosmetic tweaks. Perfectly executed tweaks
I would love to see that too!
I’m suspicious if her face changes have something to do with steroid use or something along those lines - I saw a video of her from 2003 and she looked gorgeous and SO DIFFERENT- like not even the same person - she also had a noticeable smaller frame
@@letBIGGIErest interesting comment. Never thought about this but you're right. Steroids can dramatically change a woman's face and frame

@@misslala1377 I'm aware, but the language was "she became a mother in 2006". my point is that she was _already_ a mother prior to 2006. Maddox (and the others who are adopted) is just as much her child as the ones she was pregnant with.

@Chris Bloodknot Do you have a problem sir?
She has been always a roll model to me. I have always loveded her as a person at all the stages of her life. Whatever she may have done is how it should be done, preserving the looks and mininmal when necessary not doing a make over and not looking like herself at all.
I think the upper blepharoplasty was a bad choice or it was done too aggressively. It makes her look so harsh compared to the soft look when she was younger. Same goes for Charlize Theron.
Agreed
It makes her eyes look tight. But she is still so beautiful.
She is a queen of beauty. She looked her best in 30s! Timeless beauty
I listen to this channel just for your voice. It’s soothing scratch relaxes me.
I am sure that keeping out of the sun and her genes helped. Fair skin.

She was so incredibly beautiful when younger. Just stunning

She had C-sections for all of her births.

Salud
edit: PS: DR. LINKOV, as you can see, many people commenting my comment, different opinions about melanin and olive skin floating around. THIS PROVES that this is such an interesting topic to many, with many different private theories in the heads of internet people.

Olive white (Spanish Italian Greek) type skin ages better then European white/pink skin. There are different shades in whites like the more olive color the better texture and aging
