I have been using Flir software for over 20 years, but Flir Thermal Studio PRO is definitely the worst. It doesn't even come close to 60% of Flir Tools Plus. It does not even allow the positioning of the label related to a spot or any other measuring instrument. After processing an image and returning to the report page, the measuring instruments overlap each other. The image in the visible spectrum cannot be processed in any way and the position of the defect can only be indicated in the IR image. Instead, you have emoticons, exactly what we were missing ... The software should have included all the existing features of Flir Tools Plus and only then be marketed. We will lose our clients using this software. However, I hope that some updates will appear as soon as possible...
The discontinued version of Flir Tools was terrible, and crashed constantly, but at least I could quickly generate a report with a couple hundred images with thermal next to jpg in a 4x4 format whereas this new version lacks any kind of useful templates for bulk reporting. Plus, for all the customization, it feels like it lacks basic features such as automation for formatting and any pre-built templates fitting needs for anyone other than a use case where you are focusing on less than a dozen pics. You have to go through a ton of work to end up with the most basic of photo reports. This overly complicates the reporting process and doesn't give the average user any way of just bulk selecting images and ending up with a useful document. This sucks. Can't even add a column to a table? Come on. Give me back Flir Tools!
Why is there literally nothing pre-built in this program? No default description tags with option to edit or add your own? Everything requires the user to go to great lengths to create an overly complicated template.

This presentation does not really tell me how I can use this software to work with Microsoft programs to utilise in my company templates. Seems like a step back from FLIR REPORTER from what I can see. From experience operators want to utilise the the images to interface with WORD and this does not seem to help. It would be good to know more if this is only a PDF output report before paying for a subscription and being disappointed.

Maybe I missed it but I am bummed you didn't touch on the table of contents tool. I can't figure out why it isn't working for me.

I pay 200 pound a year for the thermal studio software and all it ever does is crash and now today it won’t let me save my thermal reports……
