    I think the Able Carry Daily Carry Plus would be a better match for this category : more quick access pockets and more padding for the straps & back panel.

      Thank you for watching and that’s a fair point, might have to do a follow up with that one at some point

      Not really. It packs the smallest, it’s more like sub 20l. And no clamshell opening.

      Yeah agreed it's smaller than 25L for sure , also the quick access pocket is very small @@Kikuyo2

    Great review! I absolutely love my MPL22…use it every day for work/gym, and weekends for hiking/travel. It’s the real deal.

    Great comparison, thank you! At the moment I use Able Carry Daybreaker 2 for walking, it's light

    Great comparison as always, however just wanted to point out the mpl22 does have strap management it just needs to be rolled up and the end wrapped around the rolled up bit. They show it in their video walkthroughs. Not the best solution but at least its there.

    Great comparison. The daybreaker 2 is so light weight, but needs a little bit more organization and some laptop/back padding. That MPL22 looks awesome, just some more laptop protection for EDC. Venture ready probably checks the most boxes for EDC, but their shoulder straps slip and get twisted easily. Tough decision.

    Love my MPL22. Only issue I have with it is the lack of pocket organization, particularly in the top exterior dump pocket and the interior mesh pocket.

    Got my MPL22 ecopak and was unsure if I was going to like it… until I used it. It’s amazing. I love it. I was looking for an all rounder bag that didn’t have massive laptop storage (when you don’t carry a laptop, those padded compartments are a waste). It’s getting more time than my beloved Gorucks.

      Thank you for watching and I’m glad to hear the MPL has been working out well! I have definitely been enjoying more each time I use it and that’s a good call on the laptop sleeve if you don’t need to carry one

    Hi Danny, great comparative review! Timely for me as I’m looking at the MPL and the Day Breaker 2. Is the MPL worth almost $100 more than the AC in your opinion? I have a Daily Plus and really like xpac but don’t have anything in ultra fabric.

    I sold my Daybreaker 2 pretty quickly after getting the MPL22. The Daybreaker 2 felt smaller than 25L, the harness system is pretty lacking, the side quick access pocket is quite small and oddly shaped, and when packed out the crease on front of the bag gets bent all weird. I do like how light it is and that it could stand up on its own but the MPL isn’t that much heavier and just feels overall much more substantial in every aspect.

    i might be one of the few people who prefers no strap keepers; everytime i put the bag on the straps are completely jumbled up and need rearranging, whereas without the keeprs its always grab and go and no fussing necessary

    Bellroy should never be mention against superior brands like Able Carry and Evergoods.

    • @kris6994
      @kris6994 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Able Carry is superior brand? Bellroy has by far more experience in backpacks and EDC than AC, especially their venture ready line is top notch. I only do not understand why Bellroy does not have lifetime guarantee, as easily they could implement it. Fully agree with Evergoods

      Bellroy makes beautiful, high-quality products.

    • @nafeesiqbal1538
      @nafeesiqbal1538 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Bellroy bags are not great. Proof of that is their warranty.
      Able Carry all round makes better backpack than Bellroy, and also Able Carry provides a lifetime warranty.

    • @Kikuyo2
      @Kikuyo2 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@nafeesiqbal1538I don’t get the infatuation of life time warranty. In Europe no brands give life time warranty. It’s mostly marketing, the same product most likely won’t even exist after 5 years. And most people don’t bother at that point and just buy a new one.

    • @Brian_Lau
      @Brian_Lau 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Bellroy has slipping shoulder strap issues, their back panels have limited ventilation, and their warranty is underwhelming. But they also have nice features and their designs are aesthetically pleasing.
