Nigerian Army has raised alarm that some of the repentant Boko Haram fighters recruited into the army via borno state government amnesty program have absconded with the military weapons, motorcycles, back into the bush. The army said these repentant terrorists were really useful to the Army effort in fighting the terrorists in the past, led them to the hideouts of the terrorists but suddenly changed and absconded with the weapons assigned to them. They promise to find and ring them to justice lol. Remember they denied recruiting Boko Haram terrorists into the army. they said it was propaganda. Well, now you have the truth.
Nigerian Senate is dealing with two petitions currently. One, a 16yr old student has had her JAMB result withheld by an invigilator because she won't submit to the sexual harassment of an invigilator that collected her phone number during the examination. Another petition is that of the state governors trying to smuggle a bill into the National Assembly that will legitimise their deduction of the local government allocations. There are also State Governors that are currently at the Supreme Court challenging the act of the EFCC. They are saying the act the set up the EFCC demanded that States must agree to the establishment of the EFCC before the agency can investigate them or try any state government for corruption. So States like Kogi, Ogun, Kebbi, Anambra and others are challenging the power of EFCC to arrest any governors from these states since they did not agree to the establishment of the agency.
Akpabiole has asked Nigerians to drop their love of money which has fuelled their desire to Japa abroad for the love of Nigeria instead. He said they love Nigeria that's why they didn't japa.
