Depends on the water clarity and moon phase to me. Daylight colors work just as good also. More of a moon I lean towards chartreuse. Darker nights I go dark and bold. Good luck 🎣

Great video JWheels, I've been there once in the fall it was good for me that time, but down here in the south this year it seems to be tough, we were on the big G last week it was tough, but you always seem to figured it out & get on top!
It's interesting that the only fish that matter on releasing them below the deck rail are the specific bass that will score, but white bass and stripers can be tossed back or hit the deck and no penalties. I don't see the difference on dropping them from below or above the rail just don't football spike them. Some of the rules for MLF are funny.
I've fished in watts bar my whole life and still do you just don't know the lake and just because you couldn't pull up on a lake you don't know and catch any big ones doesn't make it a bad fishery lol

I watched and heard alot of you all talk how bad watts bar is. guy's like you all that make a living off of fishing need to be more vocal on what needs to be done to keep are fisheries strong , like maybe mandatory catch and release for all tournaments and possibly a slot limit. places like chickamauga, guntersville that get pounded year after year can't withstand it unless something is done. I just feel guy's like you and other pro's that make there living from fishing need to be more vocal on what needs to be done to save are fisheries for are future generations. sorry about the rant but tiered of hearing everyone complain but you never hear anyone say what needs to be done.
I agree with you, Texas has it figured out. The TVA was good until everyone got the electronics to find the schools out deep. I can’t really complain bc I fish with it all too. These fish are getting beat up nonstop and they are just getting wiser, it’s why finesse fishing is becoming so popular. Before sonar you could come up on a school and smash them all with a crank bait and now they just move away from it lol.

Magnum worm on a shakey head and slow running a chatterbait works for me

Id love to see all of the leagues go to catch and release. either weight or length like the kayak folks. would save the fisheries quickly.
Something has definitely changed in the last three years. I’ve noticed it on Fort Loudon. Quality of fish is down. quantity still there
