Numatic NRV200 - Fully Refurbished, After Video! Have I fixed the AWFUL motor noise?

It's done, the NRV200 I was given earlier in the summer! A fairly simple refurb tbh, but no less satisfying.
But have we improved anything? How utterly terrible is the cheap toolkit I bought for it? Let's find out!

As a Numatic user I put all the small tools, wands and floor heads in a large white nylon drawstring bag so they're kept all in one place. After Roger demonstrated how good the newer low power floor head design was in a video, I purchased one and it works on low power mode as well as the old style head did on high power. That cheapo round dusting brush is pretty good for above floor dust removal IMO.

I love them but the coating comes off after not_long then they keep binding together 😂 I've got the brand new set my cordless nbv came with in the box after using them twice and going nope...

I bought 20 of the qualtex bags for my Numatic James when I'd used up the 3 genuine ones that came with him, you only get 1 spare bag with Numatic's now I've heard, I find my James has stronger suction with the qualtex bags. I also bought a non genuine 5 metre hose a while ago from that same company you mentioned in this vid, but I had to return it due to it leaking air at the cuff. The hose that came with my James broke, the end of the hose that connects to James came unglued, but I twisted it back on and it works fine. I really like Numatic's, I feel they clean better than some uprights when used with an airobrush and they're very reliable too which is rare nowadays.

Great video. Dorian has a generic Henry tool kit and from the video I saw think he really like it. Don't remember the cost or brand. If I were local to you I'd be tempted to buy him. Just got a Henry160 here in the States

Welcome to Bodge it and Scarper vacuum services, where only the very cheapest will do, hahahaha. We get those dreadful hoses and floorheads at work for our Numatic, and they dont last 5 minutes, but then, if its sold to Mrs Chav for her house with 5 scallywags and their 3 Staffie Bull Terriers, they wont be any the wiser, cos even a brand new Henry would be trashed within a year anyway.
Seriously though - its a good refurb, and you have to fit aftermarket parts or you'd make next to nothing for your few hours spent cleaning it all up, and you want to be paying yourself at least £8.21 an hour for your troubles, so a £40 profit would justify a good 4 hours work.

Exactly! And the person it's gone to won't know the difference! It's gone into a light domestic environment with someone who knows to keep the bags and filters in good order so it should be happier now

Thanks! Yes, sold the day after filming that to an autoshite friend of mine! For domestic use. He bought an airo brush too, so he has the best of both worlds
