Your cufflinks at the 10:00 minute mark are genuine carved cameo. They’re carved from the pinkest section of the conch shell. They date to 1st quarter of 20th century.
Жаль, не знаю английского, но то что вы показываете, очень красивые украшения просто шедевры! Thank you for video!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much! I had never heard of Polki diamonds- but they definitely do look to be based on photos. I will do a little more research. Appreciate the info!
Thank you!! I have tried google lens in the past- but haven’t had great luck finding what I was looking for. I should try it again for some of these items though. Thanks for the tip. ❤️
The shambela, the style of the diamonds i know becoause the sale in my country jewelry like this especially rings ,earrings braclets with the same cut diamonds, I think it comes from India.
Ladies could work at home constructing those wired earrings and brooches from the Haskell era. Just like they could do some sewing work at home too. The pieces at 28.59 look like they may have come of a Chatelaine. This was a delight, thank you. That rough diamond jewelry is wonderful. I was wondering if the circle might be a hair piece, you thread a stick through and your hair is caught up under it. They were popular in the 70's, usually leather. Does the crescent fit in the circle holes, it looks like it might be too big. Ladakh has the diamonds. Fabulous find. Afghanistan imports a great deal of diamond, big jewelry makers.
Thank you so much!! I appreciate all of your helpful and informative comments. ❤️❤️ The crescent does not fit into the holes but they certainly look to be from the same maker. Thanks for watching!
They do not come up as diamonds on my tester - but I sure wish they were!! I am planning to get a more professional gem tester soon and will re-test to be sure. ❤️
Your wide engraved gold bangle (16:25 mark) is gold filled. You’ll find the mark on the thin slide that’s revealed when you open the bangle. Even most modern bangles are marked in the same way.

the small cameo with the broken piece looks like it could be from a rosary
I wonder if the three similar pendants are glass intaglios?
They definitely might be!
That's what I'm thinking.
Maybe the soldier is a seal? I have watch fob that has this and saw somewhere that is was used to seal documents.
Ohh that’s a good question! I hadn’t thought of that.. will have to do some research. Thank you!! ❤️❤️
