@@pimplaf can you share what do you think was better about that one? I believe the design of the new one is better, but I haven't driven any of them so that's the only thing I have an opinion on
@@ursurares264 The interior of the new one is not as spacious as the old one and feels more cramped and claustrophobic, it's more apparent when you get out of the old one and jump in the new one. I think the windshield is the culprit. On road imperfections I think this one is stiffer and less comfortable than the previous one maybe for better handling but still. And I think the GM engines like the 1.4 and 1.4 Turbo were better than the PSA puretech engines. I would say I like the exterior of the new one and the interior of the old one ahah :) But that's just my thought
I work at a Rent a Car and I've driven Corsas from the GM era and this one, the old ones are much better designed and better built, especially in the interior, the new one has very cheap plastics and qualities, apart from that the new one has a very very big problem, the 1.2 Puretech engine and its wet timing belt.
@@lol-ws6pono they’re not. They’re Stellantis Group now, no PSA. I’m looking on returning mine because of the timing belt on oil. The motors die randomly at non-set kilometers. Better get away from this cars (1.2T 100 & 75cv Puretech).
It is in Bavaria, Baden Württemberg is left side of Bavaria. Don t know what to say about the weather, yes it gets pretty warm in the summer, but lately the weather is crazy unstable, temperature change and rain are really unpredictable.
@@youonlyneedacar oh I heard that these engines are completely a disaster they drink oil more than fuel at a very low mileage also . (Not so good for normal people that the first thing they care about is reliability)
So fast 😮
the gears seem sooooo long, cool car though, much nicer than the previous gens
Yes, I also really like the design!
Having driven both this one and the corsa V, I still think the V that was under GM was better than this one...

Not bad at all
Still has General Motors parts
Opel is part of psa group now, they have cars with shared parts from renault
Look at vauxhall vivaro cluster and look at a captur cluster
To be expected that the first PSA developed Opel/Vauxhalls will still have the odd GM parts.

very good for 100 ps.
is the speedo accurate?
Around 5km/h difference. It’s really good yes.

This has puretech engine or not anymore ?
As far as I know it is still the puretech yes
But they are also the last ICE generation for the Opel apparently. I read an article that they want to produce only electric vehicles by 2027-2028
