    I was looking for a mini kit with a decent quality coil jig and scissors + clippers but the coilmaster kits are sold out everywhere. Can't believe they want $50 for those kits from the states. I have absolutely no need for an OHM tester and the other junk, but the coilmaster jig and scissors appear to be good quality. Sucks that the scissors in this Magic kit are garbage and no clippers either. Anyway, I enjoyed this review. I like your calm and collected demeanour. Cheers!

    I realize that this video is pretty old, but I just got one of these and the directions are non existent (surprise!), so I was glad to find it. The other videos on this are awful. Thanks. P. S. as someone else mentioned, I really like your laid back delivery. I could listen to you talk all day. Lol I think you could be a hypnotist.

    Great video on this jig. In fact one of the best I've found. I just got this kit in blue today and made my first coil ever. Only took 3 tries to get a really nice looking coil. I will be putting it in my Kanger Mini RBA deck this evening and seeing how I did. I still need to get an ohm meter. Right now just using the Kanger Subtank ohm reading.
    Thanks again for the great video.

      +Bill Strack Awesome Bill. It took me a few tries too. I thought I was supposed to compact it and they kept coiling up on themselves. Thanks for the comment and support!

    Thanks for adding the tip of wrapping once by hand. Makes it a lot easier to get it started.

    The newer version i just got includes ceramic tweezers, so anyone buying a kit look for the black tweezers with white tip.

    The audio seems fine Dave, i didnt notice any issues. thanks for the review, i may try 1 sometime. For now il just wrap my own :D

      +Karma Churcher Cool, I was not able to put in any transitions since it would mess up the audio sync. I like the crisper audio though. I'm going to have to learn how I can add transitions in while keeping the audio moving with the video track. As far as the coil jig, I like using it. Seems a bit more to get out to wrap a regular coil but it does make a tight coil with out any thought in the process.

    I like that one. You should look into the coil box. it is round with a screw off botom so all the posts fit in the bottom. it is a compact kit.

      +Alex Sayers I will check it out, thanks for the tip! Actually it sounds better just having to have the coiling tool rather than a box of things like this one. I carry sooo much vape stuff around as it is.

      Maybe some of the other branded versions have storage but at least the Chinese clones I've seen don't.

    In case you just found this tutorial in 2024: The screwdriver for the thing is too flimsy, use a T6 torx to tighten them down.

    That's a nice simple kit mate. How's the finish of the stainless sticks is it smooth? same finish with coilmster jigs?.

    • @davidgeemuthafuka
      @davidgeemuthafuka  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +H o o a h Yeah the posts are smooth, real easy to slip a coil off. I think its a great kit for the price. We all want to save a little money especially if we are just building simple coils.
