  • This is a long term review of the ARB Digital Tyre Inflator. After experimenting with many other types of tyre inflators and gauges I have found that the ARB to be second to none in reliability and accuracy. It has multiple uses not just for inflating tyres but also deflating tires. Being able to measure tire pressures in PSI, KPA and Bar.
    All it requires is 2 AAA batteries which ARB claim that last 200 hours. My recommendation is to carry spare batteries with you just in case.
    This is how I use the ARB Digital Tire Inflator. Hope this has been some help for you.

    Another great video mate. Now I’m torn between the camp boss one from last week or this one. Better get both to be sure 😂. But if you had to choose one, which one would you go??

      Go and get both, it can't hurt. If I had to choose one I would go with the ARB because it is 2 tools for the price of one.😀

    Mate , top video. I like how you showed the batteries and the size of batteries. 10 out of 10 mate . You'll be the next Harry Butler lol

      It's probably one of the best things I've bought for the FJ and Just works fantastic and still have not yet replaced the batteries. Thanks for watching mate

    If you scuba dive you would know Bar. It’s approximately equal to atmospheric pressure. So one Bar is very close to atmospheric pressure at sea level or 100 KPa. Great video too Ed.

      I prefer to use one of the two because I don't like the ones that remove the valve. I haven't had much luck with them.

    Well done Ed. How would you compare this as a deflator to the standard units that take the valve out?

      Hey Nas, I really don't like the screw out ones. This is my preference or my new Camp Boss deflator.😀

    what fitting do i need to connect my arb hose to the tire inflator?

    • @eds4wdcamping
      @eds4wdcamping  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You don't need any different connection it's the standard one from ARB that should work for you thanks for watching

    what is the compressor you use?

    • @eds4wdcamping

      ARB hard-wired in the engine bay

      @@eds4wdcamping Great vid :) ARB service centre wired mine up to only run when the engine was running even though I've got 3 batteries (2 start batteries and an auxiliary). Can you inflate from around 18 back to 38psi for all 4 tires either off your cranking or auxiliary battery without draining them too much? I've got the ARB twin compressor.

    Looks like it rounds to half PSI. (so you can be +/- 0.25 PSI off your target) Quite poor precision given the high price.
