My twin and I are taking care of our mom whom battled cancer, survived now we’re dealing with dementia. Both parents had cancer at the same time however dad lived for six months then passed. Time is so precious and life is fragile so soak the time in because it may not be another day. We had our dream home built. We haven’t tried a whole hog but should!! We have 6 3/4 acres with lots of trees surrounding our pasture land plus our brick home is nestled back. We have oak, maple, pecan, apple, cherry, peach, pear wood. If you were here you’re more than welcome to all the wood and access to cook on our land for “ content material”. I’ll take your brothers advice and try it this July 2024. I bet a peach pear glaze and an apple injection solution would be so good. Plus an apple, and pear, chutney also a peach & cherry chutney. ❤❤. Keep on cooking and sharing. I promise I thought my family was the only one that sing everytime we get together. Our family song is “Lord I just want to Thankyou” and my little sister passed giving birth to my youngest niece as well. It’s something blessed about being black in the South 💯
I am living in Staten island New York. My father was a butcher. He had his own business in the Bronx. I am going to retire and move to Texas. And get some Acers of land and make a homestead With livestock and grow vegetables and fruit. That's the Life!

I teared up for your dad, because my brother died on the 6th of July 2023 (probably a few days after this video was shot) unexpectedly and I just hurt for your daddy. I lost my brother but I saw how losing a child affected my dad and mom. She must have been an amazing sister and daughter to account for those feelings and for the thoughtfulness of whoever gave him that wonderful gift. Again, I’m in awe of the wonderful family you have.
