Going to spend the entire day tomorrow capturing the street. First time for me. Scared and excited at the same time. Thanks Evan for all the inspiration :)
Set your mind in tourist mode. Think of it like visiting a very remote country with very interesting people, but you can speak the language! Works for me!
The GAME is strong in this one my guy. I love the notion that there isn't a right way to make a set, but as you make more and more you understand what fits and works together. Great video as always man!
Another excellent video Evan. Atlanta seems like a beautiful city. The "storm" photo set is incredible. Would look amazing as prints especially the white umbrella and those ominous clouds. Wonderful.
Videos are getting even better 💯 was a little while ago you inspired me to try do an intentional photo set, thank you so much for doing a video on this! 🙏 so many vibes
Evan Ranft inspiration from your channel is what made me want to go from being a photographer to start doing video too! I’m slowly but surely learning but you have cake SO far the past few years! I remember watching you thinking “how has he not blown up yet” So glad to see all the recent success that you’ve earned recently! Congrats! 🚀
Excellent channel man! Definitely an inspiration for a lot of people, including me! I'll have to order a sticker or something just for the support! Thanks for the work!
dog. that whip pan squarespace transition was so clean.

Looks like you are you the NIKON more lately any specific reason for that? I´m thinking of switching switching too full frame (D850) from my fuji system. Really like your videos, they are provided great inspiration and I learned a lot from them. Have a nice one.
Hey love your blogs bro! Could u make video about how to work with companies? I mean how to find clients, how to work with them, how to understand is your level of photography enough for it (for example how to work with Nike). Not sure your advices will work in Russia, but it would be interesting.
What is your opinion on "staged" street photography? So u really liked these two spots and wanted to get a subject/person in to the frame. If u had a friend with u and made him walk pass and took the photos, would u consider it cheating in street photography? Or if the photos were staged, would u call it something else than street photography? Love your videos, shoutout from Finland. PS: i understand the work and the passion (and the reward) to get the right shot without staging, im just curious about your opinion on this matter.
@@RanftEvan I just found this channel a moth ago , I don't have a camera but still I love watching your videos , I probably watched like 70% of your videos lol
Enjoy the hell out of your channel. I'm in the metro NY/NJ area. I shoot old signs, old mom & pop storefronts, and urban landscapes and I find that 90% of the time, day or night, when I'm shooting, there are people either watching me, in the way of the shot, and/or there is a steady stream of cars passing, where I want to post up. This is probably the most densely populated area of the country, but it's super annoying. "So what?" You shoot in Atlanta...……………..yet 14 times out of 11 it seems there is either NOBODY around or very few (relative to what I'd expect from a major metropolitan area). WHAT THE HELL? What's your secret? Maybe you're not really shooting in Atlanta...………..maybe you're actually shooting in Omaha, Nebraska and just telling us you're in Atlanta. LOL!
The only reason I'm not subscribing is because you also upload a lot of 'tutorial' style videos that I don't care about at all. I just wanna see you taking pictures on location exclusively.
Thanks for watching everyone!
Hey you should do an iPhone photography challenge ‼️‼️ great vlog btw. You have no idea how much you inspire me!

Appreciate it man, yeah its sorta a hard thing to teach so I was hoping people could learn from hearing the thoughts that go into mine!
So thankful for another street photo video, you do these better than anyone.
I’ve been watching your vids for a month now, honestly was the most helpful for me until now!! Really love your compositions man👌🏻
You should make a book featuring your different photo sets!

Another excellent video Evan. Atlanta seems like a beautiful city. The "storm" photo set is incredible. Would look amazing as prints especially the white umbrella and those ominous clouds. Wonderful.

Damn I wish I’d watched this video before visiting Atlanta, I would’ve loved to recreate that shot at suntrust. It didn’t come out exactly as I wanted
Atlanta streets are so lonely! That is a shame, such great places to capture more life but in dead streets it is really a challenge
Does anyone know how he was able to check that he had bad lighting in the beginning when the camera doesn't have a tilt screen?
🔥🔥🔥
Did you shot in raw or jpeg?
Yo Evan! What are the Nike's?? They're 🔥🔥🔥
Just what I wanted 🙌🏼 new video from my boy Evan!
Happy to hear it! Thanks for watching! 🙏🙏
QOTD: have you ever tried film photography on the streets?
george cloony should adopt you, nobody would be the wiser.

Yes, I found out you are doing architecture photography not Street photography...
Nothing dislikable about this video
For this particular topic: "Street Photography". I respectfully suggest to talk less and show more about the shots and compositions.
