As such, he wasn't only weaker, but sort of unstable. You can have proof of this if you check his different introductory dialogues on the different secret areas of every Investigator stage, there's one in particular (can't remember which one) on which he literally just growls angrily at X, or something along those lines. In all others he just acts as if it were the real Zero, trying to make X think he's the one that became a Maverick.

Thanks, Reborn Gaming...I had to image after Zero was back to himself again so the story and the Dialogue has to be really good between X and Zero. They were happy to see each other again so they can stop gate from making the world into chaos. 😉
this will remain my favourite megaman x game. it was the first one i ever played. I remember playing the shit out of it, then never beating it, then going to play other megaman x games. I remember going back to x6 as a kid, and seeing nightmare zero blew my mind. it really did. I genuinely thought zero wasnt in mmx6 somehow despite him showing up in the intro stage ( think I might have forgotten about that at the time). nowadays you cant be that naive even if you tried. funnily enough, I found the same psp my cousin let me borrow to play this game. it was hidden really well. but it was also completely broken. I repaired it. my psp hid itself while it repaired itself LMAOOO

It's nice to put the X vs Zero theme from X5 and hey if you want to battle zero but don't want the bad ending then this game (Mega man X6) will do as long you need to be a super good at this game because this game is mind bumbling frustrating.
oh, do you plan to transition to gunvolt and Mighty no. 9, as both are created/ being created by people who worked on mega man games? If so that would be awesome! (note: this can be classified as a request.)
