Just saw this in an addition to your Permatex video...before I pick mine up today, do you have a preference for one over the other now that you have used both? Thanks for the content. Edit...never mind...found it further down in the comments.
Just one advice, using blade like that you can take out some resin from the chip even after drying. Scrape it from the chip outside and just the chip go left/right and straight blade, not angled. You will not scratch your windshield but it will come out perfect every time
Just got a quarter inch crack today on the bridge so I watched your video bought the kit and it came out darn near almost perfect just the slightest ever hint of a crack you can see
Tried it on a windshield that had some long cracks in it. It did not work well at all. I was able to put the applicator over one crack junction and it started to get resin into the crack and then it stopped after about 1/2 of an inch. This kit only seems good for chips with very short cracks. Nothing else.
Is it Completely invisible now? I have mostly used the permatex windshield kit. It actually completely seals around the chip, and then it applies suction to get the air out, and then the syringe applies pressure. I don't know if I trust this kit as much because it doesn't have the same features.
It worked for me perfect. Just a tiny spot now. Key is to not screw down the device too hard & spread the crack more, but just snug enough to let it work properly
Okay I went to three different glass shops One will call me back, Two said they could not do it because it was double pane? three wanted $190.00! So I got this kit and did it myself. But I over tightened it, and it broke one leg off the sucked cup.
Bruh, AS SOON AS I WAS HALF WAY THOUGH, IT STARTED RAINING! I'M DONE! Edit: I got it figured out. Just had to wait until the rain passed. Kinda pissed me off though... the FIRST time I did it, the damn resin was washed away by the freaking rain... -_- Anyway, thanks for the tutorial guide my guy. It DID help HUGE. Seriously 👍 thanks, man. 👌
Are you joking or is it real? The last minutes of video, I can still see the crack. Everyone comments as if everything is normal and as if you successfully proved removing crack in the video. The world become really strange place.
@@getaway_guide It was not meant to be rude. It was a man-to-man hope for improvement. You did not show the end results I was hoping to see. If it fixed it show that it fixed it.
Im a visual person and this video helped! Thanks 🙏🏽
You're so welcome!
I had a chip and a long crack and it got cleared it up by like 80%. Your vid helped immensely.
Glad it helped!
Use a lighter or heat gun on the inside. It will suck the resin in, into the crack better
Interesting! I need to try that.
Hey thank you so much for the video. The instructions were kind of intimidating but your video really clarified it. It was much appreciated.

Love to hear it
Thanks. Very helpful.
Thanks for the video! In your opinion, which kit was better? Permatex or this one?
I'd go RainX. IT was easier to manage.
@@getaway_guide Thanks for the recommendation!
Considering that I found him from the Permatax video and now I’ve seen this one, I appreciate this question!
Great video! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Thank you you video help alot!!! Almost perfect save me 150 dollars

The permatex one sucks. Made the crack worse. This kituch much better.
Which one work better, rain-x or permatex?
both work about the same. Rain-X was easier tough.

great to hear this!
I guess it also takes practice, but I only have one kit and one chip. I wish I had a practice car ands extra kits
I totally get that
Was useful in fixing mine… ty
Glad it helped
Thanks for the perfect video. Made it so easy. Thanks again!
Which one is better permatex or rainx?
I like RainAtex
Not sure but I'd THINK that they'd both be ABOUT the same since I'm guessing they both use the same resin...
Pros and Cons to both
Thanks! 👍✌️😎
Good information 👌
Thanks!
What about air temperature ?
I believe it gives what temp it should be on the package. It's a pretty wide range.

Oh no! Did it still work?
@@getaway_guide It was on the 2nd chip yes it did work by me hold down the broke side.
Didn’t work for me at all but it was worth a try before buying a windshield

it's mostly to stop the spread bruh
I tightened the device too hard and my tiny crack started to spread more 🤬
Same thing with me
I'm so sorry!
💯👈
You fix a chip/ in a windshield not an actual crack.
Totally!
Looked the same.
