Each and every custom is very similar to my own tradition, Assamese culture. I hail from North East India, Assam. I am stunned to see the similarities between Thai and our culture.
@@phachan7145 Yes...we call it "Holi" here in India. Please do visit someday, the culture is very rich and diverse, and you will be amazed to see the similarities between our cultures!
Wow such a beautiful wedding and all the rituals were so well explained! Can someone tell me when the bride joined her hands and kept it on the husband’s shoulder during the end of the video, what does it signify and what’s it called?
HOLY ****, I was amazed how similar it is compared to China. And then I am astonished at 08:30. That was Ms. Pear............ Gracias por este video, FELICIDAD! большое спосибо
So beautiful 🤎 I’m curious does this ceremony take place the day before or the day of the wedding ceremony where you say vows and I do’s and walk down the aisle or is that not a part of the process at all ?

beautiful wedding ceremony. thank you for sharing this amazing experience. congrats Kru Pear. A question, is it normal or ok to have the wedding ceremony a few months or even up to a year after the couple are legally married? I am legally married to Thai woman (best women in the world) and we are plan to have the actual wedding ceremony next year (2019) because that's when all the family's can meet together. we also will have a traditional Isan wedding as she is from Isan part of Thailand.
swimnclimb Yes, it is ok. My Thai friends who live abroad also married legally before arranging the traditional ceremony. Congratulations on your marriage.😄
Before the couple eat the egg, the witch doctor takes the egg from the Bai Sri tree to predict the future of their marriage by cutting the egg in half - if the egg looks nice then it means they will have a happy marriage life. Then the couple eat the egg to represent the harmony.
Thank you Mod for your explanation about the egg...i wanted to know because 3 year ago i was in Sisaket with my ex girlfriend...and they also offered her and me to eat the egg together. Was that my marriage with her?Anyway...i am very happy that you personally answerd this question.Chock dee khrap
