No dispongo de imprimación negra brillante, pero si de de imprimación negra 73602, y barniz brillante. ¿Cree usted que una mezcla de ambos productos de A. Vallejo daría buen resultado?

no funciona igual ya que la función del primer es preparar la figura para que la pintura posterior se adhiera adecuadamente. Distinto de la función del barniz, que es proteger la figura despues del pintado y más si es brillante :)

Hay alguna diferencia entre el metal varnish y el gloss polyurethane varnish? Se pueden utilizar las 2 para sellar el metal color?
Aunque ambos son barnices, el Metal Varnish se formuló específicamente para conservar el brillo de los metales y además, protegerlos adecuadamente :)
When different colors are needed on the aluminum surface can they be applied before the varnish? Thanks very much.
You can apply those different colors before and after varnish :)

Colors are nice, but they are lacking the shine. I wonder if polishing surface and using something different to prime would make a big difference
Hello Pak_Wagen, you can test using a glossy primer :) Maybe it works!
Aluminium isn't particularly reflective - and aluminium paint even less so. There is a chrome colour available, I'm guessing that's shinier. They are probably missing a polished aluminium from their range though.
What pressure did you spray the unthinned paints out at?
Hello Patrick, 15-20 PSI is the most common and recommended pressure when airbrushing our Air paints.

Thanks! I’m still a bit nervous using my airbrush - so many variables and all that cleaning… it gives a beautiful finish though. I have all those Vallejo products and hope to do a 1/24 Airfix Mustang (I got one for Christmas 40 years ago age 11 but never finished it- would love to finish one) soon

Hola de nuevo@@jcporcella , como ya viste en el video, nuestros Metal Color se pueden usar directamente sin necesidad de diluir, por lo tanto cabría la posiblidad de revisar la aguja del aerógrafo, una de 0,2 o 0,4 debe ir bien y si se te atasca, pincelar con thinner la aguja. Por otro lado, si el problema no es con la aguja, puedes comprobar la presion del compresor, los ajustes recomendados rondan los 15 - 20 Psi o 0.5 a 1 kg de presion; ten en cuenta que a más flujo de aire más posibilidad de que la pintura se seque. Y por último prueba a añadir primero el thinner en la cazoleta del aerografo en una proporcion de 2-3 gotas y despues la pintura en una proporcion de 7-8; otra opcion es añadir un par de gotas de Retarder medium directamente a la pintura o de nuestro Flow Improver. Y finalmente, el producto con el que comparas tiene base de disolvente por lo que no podriamos compararlo con la base de agua del Metal Color. Esperamos haberte ayudado y que puedas disfrutar de tu Metal Color :) tienes varios videos sobre esta gama en nuestro canal, esperamos te sean de gran ayuda 😊

Te paso una guía de procedimientos para seguir en caso de que eso ocurra:
El metal color es muy sensible a la presencia de líquidos no afines cómo ser el isopropílico puro o en dilución. O diluyentes en enamel.
Para evitarlo primero. Has pasar thinner de Vallejo por el aerógrafo con el fin de limpiarlo adecuadamente. Ya que cualquier presencia remanente de esas dos sustancias puede formar grumos que te atacarían el aerógrafo.
2- adecuar la presión. En este video utilice 20 PSI de presión. Es posible que interfieran dos factores: la primera que el aerógrafo posea suciedad en forma de sólidos para ello recomiendo aumentar la presión ( no afectará el desempeño de la pintura ) , y la segunda el clima tropical , hace que la pintura en el tip se seque con gran rapidez, sugiero agregar dos gotas de thinner cada 10 de pintura al usarlo o mejor aún 1 de flow improver.
También si se tiene a la mano un aerógrafo 0.4 es conveniente usarlo en conjunto con las otras medidas.

@@spartanscalemodels8904 Muchas gracias por los detalles y explicación. Hay pinturas metálicas en el mercado que son más fáciles de usar sin ser un ineniero químico para hacer medidas o fórmulas. Yo tengo 10 aerógrafos desde Harder & Steibachk hasta los más sencillos Master. Sólo veo que hay que complicarse mucho para pintar un modelo y lo que buscarmos es calidad, facilidad, precio y accesabilidad.
