Hello sir, Can you explain to me one thing. In the graph question for finfing the rate of reaction at 2 min, u Did 1200-170 seconds while they ask for Minutes or use minutes, So is it must to use seconds?
God bless you , you are literally helping children all over the country pass their exams. Before I was really struggling with chemistry but since I've been watching your videos my graded have improved. Thanks❤️
Ahh thank you for this comment! It’s so motivating for us to hear that they’re really helping you understand the material! Keep at it, and wishing you all the best with your work 🙌
Same my grades improved so much I’m so proud of my self and my teacher is proud aswell she keeps on saying why can’t no one else answer a question and we basically have a conversation only between us 🙄😂
Chemistry is my weakest of the three sciences. I find it more interesting than physics but I struggle to remember chemistry more than physics. Thanks to these videos I got 80/100 in my paper 1 mock which is the best I’ve ever done in chemistry ever. We haven’t got the grades yet because we can’t see the boundaries until we get our results but because I do single sciences I know this will bump my chemistry grade so much! Thankyou
Mate! I don't know what to say I got my mocks next week and I've been watching your chemistry videos and I've got a really good feeling I'm gonna do good thanks to u keep up the good work :)
Hiya Zain, thanks for such a kind a comment! Really happy to hear you’re finding the videos useful, and fingers crossed for your mock. I’m sure you’ll smash it 🙌
Ay mate can't thank you enough my teacher uses these to teach us and it is very informative. So many of my friends were struggling with chemistry until you came along thank you so much for making the lives of so many kids around the world a bit easier
These are really good to just put on in the background and listen to them constantly while you do other stuff to get the info in your brain. Obviously still actively listen to each video a few times and do your actual revision but that's what I do with these
The drawing of "a tangent line" is a pretty ingenious way of finding the rate of reaction at a specific time. One thing I like about Chemistry is, you can apply your Math knowledge on it.
the only reason im posting ithis is because I wanted to get the 50th comment but still, u explain things better than teachers. u should set up ur own school and no matter how much you charged, people would pay up (up to a certain value of £).

im confused as to when to draw a tangent line? the first example we didn't have to but then for the others we did. is there like a code word that triggers us to know when to draw the tangent
Wouldn't it have been helpful to show that the last one would have a negative slope (then discuss why we would/wouldn't display your final answer (rate) as a negative value)?
The slope of any line straight line is constant. It doesn't matter which 2 points you pick anywhere along any length of the line, you'll come up with the same answer.
I have a science end of term assessment and I have a lot to revise in 1 week but I can do this since I came from school I am revising so 4 hours and 30 minutes and I’m really tired
ahh i think i solved my question. so it doesn't matter where on the tangent you chose to take values because as a straight line it will still be y/x wherever you choose.....is that right?
That's what I've been trying to figure out as well, in the video he say's it does not but obviously that's wrong since the value of say, 600g/3.5m is far different to 600g/4m

Hello cognito, why is it when you draw a tangent why does it depend on how long the tangent is?

That's awesome to hear Molly, well done on your mock!!! 🥳🥳 So glad we could help! 😊
What grade did you get on mock
@@lemonlime8949 we never got told the grade boundaries but I got a 9 as my actual GCSE grade. I am now doing chemistry for a-level.
@@mollyshackleton7760 congrats :) I'm planning on taking chem for A levels too - plus I have a paper 2 mock 5th period today
@@mollyshackleton7760 What's it like doing A-Level Chem? I plan on taking it too but I'd just like to know what I'm getting into :)
Thank you! I was worrying whether the length of the tangent affected the answer, but now I know it doesn’t! Only the steepness does

Thanks, glad they're helping 🙌
You videos have cleared out so many topics which I wasnt able to understand earlier
Thank you so much, I don't know what I would do without your help before my tests.
Thank you!!!!
bro thank you so much, my teacher, made it so complicated thank you so much brooooo
Sir, keep doing what you are doing. It is an excellent work. Your videos help so much!

Watching this before chemistry mocks 👍👍👍
I got a 9 in my biology, physics and chemistry mocks because of you thanks a lot
Just wanted to give a sincere thank you for making this video.
Ah you're welcome!
Thankyou so much!! This is a main focus for the GCSE Paper 2 exam this really helped!! xx
Glad it was helpful!
Definitely, I didn't enjoy it as most of the students don't like studying.
But was really helpful for my upcoming exam.
I am writing today and I find your videos helpful, thank you.
Omgggg Thank youuu so muchhh i have a science testt tmr and this was so helpfull
Thanku so so so so much i helped me alot
Now i am able to solve the graphs questions without my teachers help
I went from a 25/30 to a 30/30 in chemistry JUST because of your videos, thanks bro
Thanks, I have a chemistry test tomorrow about this topic
This was really helpful, thanks.

Excuse me sir will it be fine if i were to extend the tangent line until it touches the x-axis and the y-axis?
can i use this methods and calculations for concentration against time graph too?
Got it! Thanks Amadeus
how did you get 0.72 ?? because the tangent was above 0.8 ,, so wouldn't it be 0.8+ (something like 0.89 or something like that)
hey, just a quick question in the time 4:17 of the video you said that the denominator is 170 how come? 3 minutes in secs is 180...
Hello sir, Can you explain to me one thing. In the graph question for finfing the rate of reaction at 2 min, u Did 1200-170 seconds while they ask for Minutes or use minutes, So is it must to use seconds?
im confused as to when to draw a tangent line? the first example we didn't have to but then for the others we did. is there like a code word that triggers us to know when to draw the tangent
Got a Science test tomorrow and I am feeling good
does it matter exactly how steep the tangent is? bc i feel like im going to draw it at the wrong angle
Wouldn't it have been helpful to show that the last one would have a negative slope (then discuss why we would/wouldn't display your final answer (rate) as a negative value)?
just wanted to ask if u are ever going to do a level content?
I am here from EY to review the videos
The video seemed helpful
But there was no SK Dash
Thank You
Yes he should SK Dash
Yes, that will help a lot for this TH-camr to make his videos better

Can I extend the tangent line to touch the x axis along with extending it to the y axis to find the gradient ?
if you manage to keep the tangent line straight then yes
wont the length of your tangent change the result you get for the specific Rate of Reaction?
The slope of any line straight line is constant. It doesn't matter which 2 points you pick anywhere along any length of the line, you'll come up with the same answer.
thats what i thought i dont know how long or short to draw my tangent
I cannot thank you enough!
I have a science end of term assessment and I have a lot to revise in 1 week but I can do this since I came from school I am revising so 4 hours and 30 minutes and I’m really tired
Can I simply find the derivative of the curve?
when working out the rate of the reaction, where did you get 60, when doing 1200/4x60
in a minute there are 60 seconds
@@Its_Speeds ohh thank you so much!
Just to clear a mistake! at 4:22 the answer to 600/170 = 3.529411765, not 3.53, or did you just round it?
He rounded
What determines the length of the tangeant? If you drew it longer it would change the value, no?
ahh i think i solved my question. so it doesn't matter where on the tangent you chose to take values because as a straight line it will still be y/x wherever you choose.....is that right?
Will you ever do a-level physics content?

How to know how long to draw the tangent plsss answer
What if I make my tangent too small or too large?
That's what I've been trying to figure out as well, in the video he say's it does not but obviously that's wrong since the value of say, 600g/3.5m is far different to 600g/4m
how did you get the 0.72 in 5:23
i think it was a mistake because the line is clearly over 0.8
@@abigailk6500what I thought
thank you :)
thanks man i have a an exam and i couldn't understand shit tell I watched this
Did you pass the exam? Just curious
This doesn't make sense. Why is the tangent touch 2m 50s when it should be 2 minutes?
because they traced a line down to the x axis from the tangent
At 0:44 why did we multiply by 60?
He is just converting it to seconds as that’s what the formula requires (60sec in one minute - 4x60) 😊
👏👏
HELLO
2:31 it not 1200 as the line is a bit under that
But is it true if i draw the tangent longer that wont affect the value
