None of A-ha's songs has been overrated, on the contrary it's a mystery for me why there's too much bad musical taste. I've never met another band who can give a listener a similar variety and quantity of wonderful songs both in melody and lyrics. 'A-ha for ever' is a shout deep in our hearts and minds like a lightening into the sun.
Perhaps because there is a true Scandinavian angst to this song, and all of their music, which is a little alien to the Anglo-American pop musical tradition.

Not a bad song at all, awesome video that didn’t hurt them. However, I dare say that there are 4-5 other tracks on “Hunting High and Low” that are far better. As I’ve aged, I have “rediscovered” the band. There’s so much more to them than “Take On Me”, and this track is one that I truly enjoy listening to, as I continue my a~ha “journey”.

As a former DJ, one of the engineer's best choices for record / mixing bass and the kick drum. The punch is incredibly well without losing volume in the extreme bass range as so many did; like nothing below 50 hz and 80 to 120 pushed on the EQ. I could push it in a discotheque without it becoming gibberish. Bravo Alan Tarney ! Verify my words with very good headphones at discotheque volume, even on a youtube video.

maye_johnston z I saw him in a local cafe in Oslo a couplu of years ago. He was looking through some pages in a document that very well could have been the a-ha 2015 comeback contract. He was there with a dark haired woman, not his gf. His fourth child lives very close to where I live in Oslo.
