It's about a boy wanting to learn about his dad and since he's only told the good things, he begins to think his dad was some kind of saint. So of course when somebody he doesn't like to begin with brings up some negative stuff about his dad, Harry immediately thinks he's lying. Btw. I still think that Rowling missed the opportunity actually showing us anything of the good side of James Potter. Everyone just keeps talking about how awesome he was, but all we actually know is that he was dumb enough to leave his wand lying around the house when the most dangerous wizard in existance was looking for him all over the place. So I gotta admit, James left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth after the last book, because we never actually see his redemption. The last few things we learn about him personality-wise is how much of a dick he was to Severus as a kid and that he was partially to blame for ending his and Lily's friendship. And instead of warmth and compassion, distain and dismay instead.
ah., and what did Snape to do earn Lily? Bully people as if Muggleborns and non-slytheruìn were rubbish?!
@@ANIMATIONLOVERBT BAHAHA definitely. Totally was a piece of shit to Lily after she was nothing but kind to him. Still, she never looked at him with those sharp eyes (at least I don’t think so) so it must’ve been a suprise.
@@xpepelee And he he never wondered what Lily would have said about his bullying on non-slitheryns for 16 years
Me to Snape: “Do you hate students so much?”
Snape: “ObViouSlY.”

0:20 BEST SCENE EVER 😂
Love that scene 😅
Ohh i love that scene..i literally choked of laughter 😂😂
Yes I love that scene 😂😂😂
Hahaha
Yesss🤣
I can imagine how many movie crews were holding their laughs whenever Snape did an intense entrance
Snapes grown on me as I aged. He becomes more relatable every day

Omg yesssss especially if you’re dealing with deep depression like me
*You just... K N O W*
to bad there is not the all the next sentence of this scene.
source: just trust me bro
1:23 Only Snape has the ability to throw a BURN at Hermoine without consequences.😂
Snape: Obviously!
If only Goblet of Fire movie had shown the teeth enlargement scene, and Snapes insult to Hermione in that one...
In the book, Ron would actually loudly defend her. Like "you asked the question and she knows the answer!" or something.
When he did that, I remember physically wincing and thinking "She's gonna need some ice after class; that was one savage burn!", lol.
That was mean and inadequate, really
I love Snape! Snape is dedicated, intimidating, cunning and passionate, yes, he may be cruel but he's a good teacher and he ensures that you learn what needs to be learned.
Snape is like the maths teacher. His methods are harsh but he still cares for his students
Yea
Are you kidding? xD He bullied all Gryffindors mostly for no reason (in the books he is even worse, especially to Neville). He is a horrible teacher and a horrible person.
@@dr.bartfratze9354 actually every teacher has a method of teaching, harsh or soft, they still care for them
@@itsnotme_x_ this is so wrong 😅 many teachers don't care. And calling bullying a "teaching method" is huge bullshit. 🤦🏻♀️
@@dr.bartfratze9354 if so many teachers dont care, they wouldn't bother to discipline students because as you said they dont care

Emma probably spent so much time memorising other people’s lines she forgot her own! 😂✨
Emma even memorizes other people's line 🤣🤣
0:17 the eye roll is incredible lol
I use to hate Snape but years later, he actually cares and is amazing
Me too, I grew to like him and he is now one of my fav characters in HP.
Like when He tried to stop Quirrell from making Harry fall off his broom in the first book?
The Snape from the movies sure, the one from the books ? Not so much

After rewatching these scenes with Snape, I think it’s actually funny how he acts

Snape: "Do you take pride in being an insufferable know-it-all?"

0:16 I love that...how Snape prepared himself is fabulous kkkkkkkkk
I just came here to watch just that scene😭🤌🏻
I love how he rolled his eyes like “these two I swear”
Somehow, Snape hating the children is actually an iconic part of his character, and he doesn't hates or punishes children like Umbridge.
Like, the fandom is okay with him hating the class, because he doesn't hates them like THAT.
And then there's the toad.
Agree
Yes :3
The toad is on a whole different ball game of hating kids and punishment, Snape just makes it funny
The difference is that Umbridge sadistically tortures children. Snape never physically harmed any students, he just scolded them.
Snape was strict and the toad was cruel that's the difference.
Snape is that one teacher that just loves to torment his students because he hates his job, his pay and being surrounded by people not as smart as him
2:47
Severus' mind be like:
*crap, he has Lily's eyes, keep it cool keep it cool*

🤣
Yes Alan is such a good actor
Harry's Eyes: twiches
Snape: *And I decided to take that personally*
2:48 him looking absolutely befuddled at harry because he squinted his eyed at him had me rolling on the dashboard of some random guy’s car

2:17 hahaha harry was actually studying snape subject
I love him, he is so criminally underrated and most of the time, he's absolutely right.
Muggle Teachers:
(The bell rings) “The bELl dOesNt ExcUsE yOu I DO!”
Snape:

If my prof would say that as a reference i wouldn't even mind
In germany we don't say ,,The bell doesn't excuse you I DO.“ We say ,,ICH BEENDE DEN UNTERRICHT!“
Books: Psychologically torture and humiliate his students.
Movies: Ah Ah Book goes *BONK* on weasel head
Actually very accurate
Yes indeed. In books he was by far worst.
He is not one of my favorites characters in movies but I tolerate him. In books, I can't help but hate him

0:14 - god, the timing! The sound of that punch fits the music so well!😆😆😆😆😆
His pauses while talking pull off his character so well. His uniqueness in delivery really sets Rickman apart from so many other actors
He’s such a complicated character with so many layers. Which is why he’s a favourite.
the pulling up his sleeves to push the boys heads down gets me laughing all the time
Same here. He's just preparing.
Sleeves up
Heads down. Love that part. I cant help but laugh
That is one of the best Snape moments in the movies in my opinion. Though I do have to wonder if Alan Rickman wished he could cut their hair instead 🤔
