If you head into the S. Minneapolis/Richfield area, South Lyndale Liquors had 5-6 OF SiBBP ryes recently ($130) and 7/8 Liquors has a few cases of an OF 100pf SiB.
Love me some old forester. I think the black label single barrel bourbons are the best on the market. I don't love many ryes but my wife likes them. The one I enjoy is the jack daniels barrel proof rye which is readily available but spendy. How would this compare?
I think it's right up there with the Jack Daniel's. But, at the price and quality, Jack Daniel's barrel proof rye might be the best on the market. Cheers!
I'm still on the fence with rye whiskey. Most of them have a piney, medicinal flavor. The few I like are finished in secondary barrels. The Sagamore double oaked comes to mind. Anytime I can find that tobacco note, I'm in.
I love these bottles man. Some of the best rye you’ll have… thanks for the review!
Cheers!
Nice review. Glad you enjoyed the sample. These seem to show up once annually here in Southern California, so I grab them when possible.
Thanks again for the sample!
I don't think I've ever seen one! Nice video!
Thanks!
Found a shelf full of those OF barrel proof rye this past summer for $79 in a grocery store in mid michigan, FIND OF THE YEAR 👍👍😎
Great score!
OF Rye is great. I believe the Mash Bill is 65% Rye, 20% Malted Barley, and 15% Corn🥃😎
Interesting mash bill!
Pretty sure I just encountered one of these in the wild today at South Lyndale Liquors
So they are in MN!

Thanks for the info!
I wish we got both more often around me.
Why? I thought you didn't like these 🤣
@@TheBourbonNote 🤣🤣🤣
OF barrell strengths are definitely solid.
I’m in Minnesota and I’ve seen them around the twin cities.

Nice review! I would grab one at the local stores but 200.00-300.00 is too much.
Yeah, that's way too much!

Pick these up whenever I run into these, as they are hard to find. 🥃
OFSBBSR is amazing. I have a couple with over 130 proof
