Planning the Hardscape and Plant Layout for my 120 Gallon Discus Tank

Follow along as I figure out how to do the hardscape and plant layout for an acrylic 120 gallon discus tank. I figure out the arrangement for the driftwood and stone, and discuss the plant selection for a tank that will operate at ~82 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit, a higher temperature range than a typical aquascape.

I'm not sure how the current pandemic will impact progress on this project, ordering plants and fish, or even my being able to give much thought to maintaining an aquarium in the near/immediate future, hopefully if you are reading this weeks, months, or years from now, all is well. As of today, people aren't sure if stores are going to shut down for even up to a month or more... so we are primarily focused on sustaining the household and keeping everyone safe and healthy more than ever. It is an unprecedented time for pretty much anyone alive today, nobody has seen anything like this.
Prayer does help. At the very least, it helps combat fear and anxiety.
May the Lord Jesus Christ bless and keep you- body, soul, and spirit, and if you are not a believer I still say this to you, and mean no harm or ill will toward you.
