    This is an good example why you should never be outside when it's lightning, because you'll never know where the lightning is gonna strike at, and the strike at 2:58 was an good example of what I'm talking about.

      HI Niklas, On average we would only get 2-3 that are documented and about 10-15 waterspouts along the coastline each year. Im sure there are more tornadoes that do occur but there are large areas with little to no population and no radar coverage so they would go unnoticed.

      The good thing about us is that we don't get EF4s or EF5s due to our climate. The highest we can possibly get is an EF3. Don't know if this happens in America but we also can get them in cyclones (pretty much the same as an hurricane except for different name and rotation being different) although, it is rare from what my understanding is hence why we also don't really get seperate tornado warnings just the severe thunderstorm warnings.

    • @maidofmilo
      @maidofmilo 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@thegreatslothlord7796 those in the Bundaberg region may beg to differ that we can't get above F3/EF3, pretty sure that of the tornadoes they've had up that way there's been at least one rated F4 in recent history.

    • @growlerthunder5171
      @growlerthunder5171 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thegreatslothlord7796 You can't get a tornado in a cyclone ! The only way is for the pre cyclone or post cyclone is for some of it to break off , and then with an inland trough to give it that extra power! So that would be cold dry air , moist warm air and an upper level trough which creates that extra shear from those different air masses!
