Thank you, I'm also buying a house in Catalunya at the moment. I'm a first time buyer so a bit nervous, I'm glad you and your mother found it straightforward.
This is definitely helpful. I tend to want to answer everything in my emails and take too much time to answer as a result. I'm changing that right now!
Great Advice! The default alway should be, "Let me think it over, and I will get back to you by X" Powerful people dont need to give reasons for their behavior. Maybe you want to discuss it with your team, your advisory board, or you just want to sleep on it and let thoughts congeal. Your "why" is your business, not theirs. Also, note that their initial offer is usually boilerplate, heavily tilted in their favor, and implied is this is standard business practice. Dont react emotionally and get upset. Ignore the ridiculous (often around they own all the IP rights). Dont bother explaining why it is ridiculous, just strike it out, and drive toward a reasonable, fair win-win agreement. Everything is negotiable, everything! Once they see that you aren't emotional or a fool, it likely will be more balanced going forward.
It was cell phones, of all things (i.e., the hardware). Selling big yearly orders to retailers and carriers, I believe (with the caveat that I'm not 100% on the finer details)
@@robfitzpatrick love it, there's definitely a ton of insight that can be brought from a power player at that level. Maybe they'd be willing to come onto your channel as a guest for a podcast?
