That was a beautiful film, so sensitive and atmospheric. For me it invokes the spirit of the endurance athlete or pilgrim - the fears, the doubts, the constant pains and the overwhelming tiredness. But also, at last, the sense of growing joy that soon the challenge will be completed, the goal achieved and finally the wish that it could go on forever - one more mile, one more hill, one more day, one more life.

This has got the exact feelings. Now I’m on the Camino for month and half and there’s still 2 months before me. I really loved when you compare the getting up to work, but without free weekends and definitely feeling the title. Lose yourself to find you Camino. Wish you all the best ❤

I think, for the first time, she is seeing that she wants more from her life. Maybe she doesn't feel fulfilled. She quit her job to walk with her husband, but she needs more to feel fulfilled. She might want to return to a job that gives her enjoyment and purpose. She needs to do what makes her happy. If her husband wants to walk the Camino...he should do it by himself. Their individual happiness is important. That's just my opinion.

Thank you so much for sharing this.... a month ago I was in St Jean, thinking I would walk the French way... only for terror of all that sea of humanity to strike me, my feet to turn around and walk towards Bordeaux instead... realised I then had to go to the Camino Portuguese and continue...ran afoul of my VISA card... went home to Denmark and sold some things.... and now, tuesday, I fly back to Porto to continue. But will I walk all the way 'up from Hel', from Porto? It's like I already did that first part in the south of France. That is the question... wander Porto to Santiago, or go to Tui to Santiago, then turn the corner and walk down the Camino Francés to meet humanity? I wonder....maybe I'll know when I land in Porto...
