You nailed it.. he played a few games on the bench and he’s balling out. Great move as a Sixers fan. Him and Maxey in open space are a problem

I believe he will do well with the Sixers and sign a long term contract with them.

Definitely a possibility. So much could change in the next year for the 76ers so only time will tell, but I do love the fit. Especially if Harden and everyone is playing and there is no drama

Thats a good pick up Oubre still young, good player, still has upside, he could turn out be a really good player or decent player

100% agree. He’s going to be a valuable member on a likely contender and he’ll be on a minimum contract. Big time pickup for the 76ers!

Signed a guy who no one else wanted on minimum and all of a sudden and the team got a “lot better”. Dah! Ask yourself why a guy who scored 20 PPG last year could not get a decent contract?

He was wanted by many teams, but wanted a contract worth much more. By the time he decided to move off of that asking price he likely had to settle for a minimum contact for a year to boost his value since the money dried up. It’s not the first time that has happened. I believe he’ll be a major boost to the 76ers.

@@TheSchuZShow Boost his value? What more do you need? He averaged 20 points per game last season (1 point less than James Harden). Can you name one NBA player on minimum with 20-5-1 and only 28 years old? Have you watched him play for GSW or the Charlotte? STOP IT.

@@ebok33643 Playing on winning/contending rosters is important and he hasn’t done that yet outside of that one year stint with the Warriors. Also only appearing in 48 games due to injuries and being on a horrible team doesn’t help him. We can agree to disagree, but I’m confident that he’ll end up being a major piece to the 76ers this year and help them out a lot if things come together in Philadelphia with Harden.

@@TheSchuZShow Seems like you have not analysed his playing style at all. Players with over 20% usage, shoots poorly and don’t pass are typically categorised as “ball hogs” in the NBA. Guess who ranked #1 in this list in 2022 with a ball hog score of 91.9? Imagine trying to do that at the 76ers with Joel, Maxey and maybe Harden. There is a reason why a 28 year old athletic guy who can score 20ppg is on a minimum contract.
