I will put here these timelines so you guys can check the different more easy: -DGM20: + 2:50 - 2:54 (Quiet environment + short distance) + 3:36 - 3:40 (Fan in background + short distance) + 4:30 - 4:34 (Quiet environment + far distance) -DM30: + 2:25 - 2:30 (Quiet environment + short distance) + 3:18 - 3:22 (Fan in background + short distance) + 4:12 - 4:16 (Quiet environment + far distance)
I am trying to get into streaming so I got myself the Maono DM30 which has been praised by plenty as a great entry level microphone. There were no problems setting it up but when it came to the Sound test it was Horrific. It was extremely Sensitive, it picked up ANY sound no matter how small. It almost seemed like the audio was being boosted by something but after lookin threw any and all settings, looking for drivers needing updates, I didnt find anything. one thing I did notice was that many have a "Enhancements" Tab in their Sound Settings and I did not, also missing a "Boost" Slider in the "Levels" tab. For now I managed to make the microphone usable by smacking a bunch of Filters on it with OBS but its no where near the level of Quality I have been hearing all over the Internet.
Question po. Puwede po bang ilipat ang DM30 doon sa stand ng DM20? [EDIT: Okay na po haha. Di pala puwede. Nakita ko sa DM20 review ninyo na naka-attach na pala. 😅]
bro may question ako meron akong dm30 tapos diba meron siyang mic monitoring sobrang ganda ng sound pero pag sa games na or discord iba na yung audio hindi na siya professional yung sound , bakit po kaya ganon
natry niyo po icheck yun input mic sa discord and games niyo? for example sa valorant. sa settings po pwede niyo iset kung anong mic magiging primary input.

Sorry for replying late busy with my mid year , but anyways i tried it na bro and main input na is the dm30 but it still produce the same audio like walang siyang changes parang normal mic lang siya may posibility ba na hindi kaya ma accomodate ng ibang games yung ganong audio?
I have a concern regarding the noise cancellation feature for DM20. When it is turned on, will it be able to block out the sound of a mechanical keyboard, specifically the loud noise produced by blue switches? I am currently using a microphone that quickly picks up such noises, and I'm wondering if the noise cancellation will be effective in this scenario.
Update I have the mic since last month, and it's so good, the quality is there and the noise reduction is around good level already, it can remove the hizz* noise, and your keyboard around 60% and when u talk the keyboard can also be heard, just pick brown switches then ur good :>@@AfterReviews
@dom_6537 hey! Wondering how its like now with the mic. Have you upgraded since? Or are u still sticking with the mic. I dont think i necessarily need the mic for recording, but mostly for meetings and discord calls. Do you think its great for those?
I don't think it's a fault with my unit because neither in the manufacturer's publication nor in any other video have I seen it light up like yours. In fact I came to think that your unit is a new version. Could you please share the purchase link where you bought yours?
Si es bueno para darte una calidad aseptable para Cantar, es un poco mejor que el DM30, en ámbito de cancelación, de ruido que biene de forma manual. Y capta mejor la voz a distancia larga qué el dm30. Te recomiendo el DM20 100%

are you using a boom arm or just the stand?

Might be you maxed out the microphone gain? increasing it would also make it more sensitive to sound pickup

it can reduce the noise but not 100%. Use audacity to remove the unwanted noise.
