I built my bike with most of my parts from Bart Moto Co in California. I am in New Hampshire so I ordered all the parts but they have the oil can in stock along with a lot of other parts. I’m going to post the video soon of my bike. Thank you for sharing.
What am I trippen or did you not speak on the rims? I swear I listened to the whole thing maybe I spaced out? Can I get a time stamp? I saw you talk about the tires, but I like the rims!
Hey dude i currently bought a 69 ct70 with the zs190 engine. Have you done the shift star upgrade or fix with washers?? I’m having trouble getting bike back into neutral and heard this is a common issue. It only has 240 miles on it. Also any other things to check on these motors as I am new to this engine. Love your build and enjoy watching your videos! Thanks man!
I haven't done anything on the engine, I know they corrected the shift star issue on layer engines so I'm assuming mine came with the already updated shift star (or I've just been really lucky) not 100% sure on what one yet. But just check the valve clearance every other oil change as they sometimes will come out of spec as the engine breaks in. Change the oil regularly (more often than needed don't hurt) and lube the starter chain. Other than that it should be a pretty problem free engine!
Curious what throttle cable you use?? I bought the similar Trc billet throttle and I run a keihin 28mm carb.. My previous cable doesn’t fit the Trc throttle. Appreciate the info man. 69 ct70 zs190 engine. Fully built just changing a few things I didn’t care for from the previous owner.
Wheels are stock, came on the bike in 1970. I just had them powdercoated. Exhaust was for a crf50/xr50 I had to make a mount bracket for it other than that fit no problems. But it's been discontinued for a few years now. Hard to find them. Used if at all
@@bolanbuilt5903ahh sweet! Thank you for your response bro I appreciate that. Weird I didn’t get an alert for this message I just so happened to check back on this video. 1 more question, I saw video of someone saying they had to cut the frame to make the zongshen engine fit is that true?
Hey man, could you help with the rear brake pedal... which one did you used ? I'm currently building my own 190cc 1974 CT70, inspired by you, but i can't find the good rear brake pedal ! Thanks ! ✌
@@bolanbuilt5903thanks for the info man ! Looks like my stock pedal has a problem, it touches the peg mounts, it's too low. I'll have to look for a stock one !! Thanks again ! ✌
Ya mine rests on the bottom of the peg mount but it still sits pretty comfortably on the foot compared to where the stock one would sit with the bigger engine and pegs
@@bolanbuilt5903sorry i watched the video again and you coverd it ! I asked a bit too soon haha, figured out, my peg mount is coming out straight, yours have a bend towards the engine, that's why your pedal is fine and mine isn't ! ✌
@@bolanbuilt5903 my bad , didn't pay attention to yer videos enuf ! Don't be mad but I'm building my ct70 same as yers, different colors tho. Lots of RESPECT to you & yer AWESOME build !!!!!
Great video. Thanks for taking the time to show us your bike. It's badass.

It's a TRC cable with adjustable length, I forget exact size I got it years ago. But so far it's fit every carb from 26-34mm no problem
Where can I find the seals for the front inverted shocks? mine are shot and I cannot find them.
I left a comment about the rims, but can you clarify, was the FMF exhaust originally for a crf70?

I got my rear brake pedal off my trail buddy website, basically just a clone pedal but it's been good for about 7 years now

Ohhh ya that makes sense
How many miles do you have on the 212?
I'm not for sure. But if I had to guess probably 5-8,000 miles at this point.
Is that a hood rat be good stick mounted to the forks?
It's the stick my 360 camera mounts on to
Where did you get the 428 rear sprocket ?
I run 420 sprockets

Never mad! The more similar to mine the better and more fun for the ct community! I'm glad I could be of some inspiration for the build! 🤙🏻
