However, if you are a guy shorter than 5'10", you will have a harder time getting a date EXCEPT with very tall women. I know this sounds nutty, but if you are a short guy and the woman is 5'10" with no heals and then wears standard 3 inch heals to the club, she is perceived by most guys to be TOO TALL at 6ft 1in and they avoid her. I am telling you this is the weirdest damn thing, but it is absolutely true. Really tall women are the easiest one's to date because they get asked out the least.

A lot of guys mess up with who to ask. 2 girls cluster, you have to have a wing man, not many woman will abandon her friend/wing girl at a club, it is considered bad form. 3 girl + clusters are your best best, but are the most scary for men because when you get rejected by one, you are rejected by all, so you think. This is very true it’s usually about abundance vs scarcity. It's easy to say "laugh it off and 10 seconds later you'll be fine" but that's only going to work for a certain percentage of people, both men and women. Each of us is different and each of us comes from a different life experience and we can't all have the level of confidence we want when trying to meet a romantic partner. Introverts and extroverts handle these situations differently. Some people simply have that "gift" of confidence and many don't.

So the guy that had is eye on the receptionist athe physical therapy and he used humor to defuse the rejection is a great idea . I use humor all the time when approaching women. The only thing I would say here is that hopefully it was on his last PT appointment because that means now he has to go back there for future appointments which could prove awkward .
I can't remember who said it, but years ago I heard a woman say to a guy "Sorry, I have a boyfriend" and he said "I have a goldfish." She said "What?" And he said "I'm sorry, I thought we were talking about things that didn't matter."

Value your time. You are an incredible person who is alive and has as much of a right to be here as anyone else. If someone rejects you, understand all that amounts to is a preference of the person making the choice and nothing else. You are still fine. If you truly get that you will be a-ok in more ways than one. What a woman decides about you is coming from her and is based on her life experiences and traits and nothing to do with you.

However, if you are a guy shorter than 5'10", you will have a harder time getting a date EXCEPT with very tall women. I know this sounds nutty, but if you are a short guy and the woman is 5'10" with no heals and then wears standard 3 inch heals to the club, she is perceived by most guys to be TOO TALL at 6ft 1in and they avoid her. I am telling you this is the weirdest damn thing, but it is absolutely true. Really tall women are the easiest one's to date because they get asked out the least.

A lot of guys mess up with who to ask. 2 girls cluster, you have to have a wing man, not many woman will abandon her friend/wing girl at a club, it is considered bad form. 3 girl + clusters are your best best, but are the most scary for men because when you get rejected by one, you are rejected by all, so you think. I understand rejection I just dont quite understand why so many people experience it so intensely. Somewhat related I have mild Asperger's so my rigorous social skills training as a kid probably helped....people don't believe I have autism because I have worked very hard on social skills and I tend to actually love interacting with people for any reason. I've found that rejection actually never happens that way, unless like Marni says she's married or has a boyfriend, in which case it's just kinda embarrassing that I misread the signals. However the vast vast vast majority of rejections like 99% don't happen in the moment (unless you're just blatantly rude/obnoxious but that's part of the 1%) it happens after you've exchanged numbers agreed on a date and she cancels or doesn't call/text you back, which is incredibly irritating when it happens, but it also means you really don't have to experience that awkward discomfort of being rejected in the moment or in front of other people.

Your right about rejection. In my teens I was worried about handing rejection. So there was a girl I worked with I knew if I asked her out she would say no. So every week I would ask her out and she said no. Funny thing is after months and months of asking her out she said yes. My jaw hit the floor, I didn't know what to say. Guess I didn't think that though. We dated for awhile. But I have no problem with rejection. It's not personal. I wouldn't date every woman I met. This is very true it’s usually about abundance vs scarcity. Getting yourself out there not caring about the outcome showing her it doesn’t bother you makes you look ten times more confident and attractive. I know this by experience. Confidence in approaching the opposite sex can be very difficult for many people. One bad experience can destroy a person's confidence for months or more. It's easy to say "laugh it off and 10 seconds later you'll be fine" but that's only going to work for a certain percentage of people, both men and women. Each of us is different and each of us comes from a different life experience and we can't all have the level of confidence we want when trying to meet a romantic partner. Introverts and extroverts handle these situations differently. Some people simply have that "gift" of confidence and many don't.
Some people just wait for the right one and suffer lack of romance, while others happily punt around in the meantime.

When I was dating back in the day I had a few girls tell me that they "had a boyfriend" but they body language and interest in me completely contradicted what they said. I now believe that I was "supposed to change their mind" and that they were expecting me to do that. I am used to seeing "manosphere" style dating advice on here, which is all about how to try and steal women from their partners, etc. It is really refreshing to see some dating advice that isn't predatory and sounds like it might actually work in the real world!
You have an issue with manosphere creators telling you to steal another man’s woman? I’ve never seen that so I’m not sure who you are referring to but this video is literally about trying to convince already taken women to dump their BF and be with you.
Her: "I have a boyfriend." You: "Well, I'm sure a smart girl like you is looking to upgrade."
