Gee, what's with all the nasty comments? Superboy is a terrific show. Brings back lots of memories. Oh, I know, the comments are from kids who grew up with Smallville, 'no flights, no tights' and consistently ruining the Superman mythos. This series was made in the late 80's-90's and was only a half hour. Don't expect 2010 effects, and I think this Lana was beautiful, just as much as Kreuk. At least they stick to canon and give her red hair. This will always be the greatest Superboy version.
I don't remember much but Superboy defeated the aliens and kissed Lana.Then in a flash of light they were transported back in time to the celebration with Andy alive but Clark and Lana having no memory of what happened and the aliens never came to earth.
I actually think the show is kind of cool, seeing a young Clark Kent in college with his Superboy costume was awesome. But if I had one critique: it’s that I would have wanted to see TJ White return but he introduces his father to Clark who could says that he would be a great reporter for The Daily Planet in Metropolis, thus setting the stage for his future. And maybe Clark could have started going by the name Superman.
In the beginning of the previous episode there was a celebration then they were interrupted on the news that Jor-El and Lara came to Earth looking for their son. Kal-El ended up leaving Earth with the fake Jor-El and Lara but he didn't know this till he was inside the ship. It was basically a trap. The aliens also kidnapped Lana then you saw the rest of the video clip here.
Well, there are superman fans and then smallville fans. This show is really old though - I watched it when I was little... loved it. Loved the first superboy better though.
Also Gerard Christopher as Clark Kent in Lois and Clark as a continuation of “The Adventures Of Superboy” would have been an interesting idea. Also Lana Lang here ruled.
In the new cartoon, "Superman The Animated Series" Lana knowing was a nod to the "Man of Steel" reboot story where Clark reveals his powers to her before he goes off to college. At that point, shes the only one aside from his parents that know he's secretly "Superman".
She was always such a pain in the ass. She's pissed off over the fact she's in love with Superboy because of his amazing powers. She knew Clark all her life and never even gave him a second glanced like that.
From Lois and Clark: "You think it was easy to watch you swoon over Superman while ignoring me?" "What are you talking about? You ARE Superman." "No, Lois. Superman is what I can do. Clark is who I am."

Stacie Haiduk in those 'high-waist jeans. The clothing of the late '80s and early '90s. Though I still thought she was great as Lana. She even became an incredible, sharp-blue eyed mature brunette woman making her way in the soaps. She could play Hippolyta very easily.
I remember this happening a few times throughout the series and Lana seemed to say the same exact thing whenever it did. Of course the reveal was always pretty much revoked in order to keep his secret intact.

Well I usually follow Marvel. Smallvile has just gotten me into DC. I saw Superman 3 as a kid, so I barely remember it. But I did look it up after seeing this, and saw the lady that is plays his mom also played Lana in S3. But now I'm going to read more into the history. Thanks for posting this.

Adventures of Superboy I do remember watching it when I was very little but I don't remember what happens in it though. Of course I do love the movies. However I used to love Superman Returns when it first came out but now I think it wasn't all that good and Singer basically ruined it like Schumacher ruined Batman with the last 2 movies before Batman Begins and The Dark Knight came out.
You mean Seasons 1, 2, 3, & 4. There is 4 seasons of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. I got the entire series on DVD. I think it is the best Superman series ever and the first one I loved when I was little then Superman The Animated Series/Justice League/Justice League Unlimited as the second best since they really do follow the comics and now Smallville as the third best.

Hmm...interesting. Maybe it's because of its age, but this doesn't seem too impressive. Maybe I need to see more. I would like to see more, but I think when speaking of Superman series in the 90s, Lois and Clark definitely beats this, and when comparing to Smallville, there's no comparison: Smallville beats it. Still, I'd love to see this series. Perhaps I'll change my mind...but I doubt it.

This is better than Smallville. Alot of "darker" vibes associated with Superboy tales and in Smallville come from this show.

TheWilder30 Yeah, he would of been Superman but the people who did the Superboy series didnt own the name Superman and couldnt do it Superman so they kept him Superboy. But he did audition for Lois and Clark but didnt get it since he already did superboy even though the producers loved him
goku43651 I remember watching Lois and Clark but for some reason I don't remember this. I'm surprised I never watched this because yes It's cheesy but I loved anything Super-Hero as a kid. I even remember watch Super-Girl movie.
TheWilder30 This show lasted from like 1988-1992 i think and Lois and Clark started in 93 or 94, And Superboy started bad but with each episode it got better and better by season 3 and 4 about 3 million people viewed each episode and the only reason it got cancelled was because The producers lost the rights too WB again

Hmm...interesting. Maybe it's because of its age, but this doesn't seem too impressive. Maybe I need to see more. I would like to see more, but I think when speaking of Superman series in the 90s, Lois and Clark definitely beats this, and when comparing to Smallville, there's no comparison: Smallville beats it. Still, I'd love to see this series. Perhaps I'll change my mind...but I doubt it.
