@@larry1350 John Williams only did the music for the first Superman movie. Ken Thorne did the music for Supermans II and III, using material from John Williams.
Beautifully well-done mate. Seeing Christropher Reeve back in action as the man of steel is enough to bring a tear to the eye of any Richard Donner Superman fan.
It's a great extension. He was taught never to interfere but, knowing what could happen to his adopted planet, he has to make a decision.once again, the extension just adds to the brilliance of this great video. Thanks Mate.
Man, i hope people who saw these 2 classic films all those decades ago eventually find this edit or yours. Kids in the late 70s probably came up with fan fiction stories like this on the school bus/playground all the time. This is really wonderful. I legit laughed when Superman forced the moon back together and Vader said "The force is strong with this one". Way to take that line literally lol.
These 8 minutes vastly surpassed ANY superhero movie that came out after SUPERMAN II (1980). I thoroughly enjoyed that! Will be watching it again and again. Nicely done! Thank you for this!
I am truly amazed that this video isn't more popular! As far as I'm concerned... this is cannon and I will be sharing this video with everyone I know! Absolutely brilliant!
Wow. WOW! If only Chris and Richard Donner could have seen this--they would’ve been amazed! It’s sad to think of all the talented cast and crew members of both of these films that have passed away, but you have kept them alive in this fantasy sequence. Thank so very much for that.😢❤❤
Just when I thought the first version was flawless, you go and do this. As a lifelong Superman fan again you hit me right in the feels with this. Absolutely brilliant way better than the dark garbage nobody asked for that wb has been making
As a massive fan of both Christopher reeve’s superman and Star Wars I loved this. Think I managed to pick out where you’d got each clip of superman from. Especially liked the bit you took from III but had him kick the tie fighters into each other. I also liked that you did a captain marvel style finish and had him fly right through the Death Star. Truly well done.
“Mister Luthor, you believe that story about a giant artificial moon with some kind of enormous energy weapon?” “Believe it, Otis? Of course I believe it. That it came here has something to do with the planet Krypton. Whoever built that thing somehow has it in For Superman.”
Love the added scenes. My only problem with the first version was how Superman just showed up, and flew towards the death star and we didn't see his reaction to it. This fixes that completely, and also adds more emotional weight with Superman seeing the destruction of Krypton. Also, the scene of Vader standing before the council of Krypton was awesome. It was kind of scary in a way. Really great stuff.
Given Superman's established level of strength, he could easily tear the Death Star apart with both hands tied behind his back. But that's not in the movie footage, so this works.
Your editing, music and special effects are fantastically superb, it just works so smoothly in sync with Christopher Reeve's Superman. He always gives me inspiration like the current actors who do in their own take on the Man of Steel and as well a incredible potrayal. I have absolutely enjoyed all of your Superman IV Remastered videos and this probably is the best one.
After looking at this, I'm thinking about how technology advance so quickly. A scene like this would need many amounts of dollars to recreate back in the old days.. Now.... it can be developed by home PC by a few people.
I’m very late in discovering this, but this is absolutely incredible work. Whatever DC does with Superman next, they’ll have a hard time recapturing the sheer joy this little film just brought to this Superman fan’s heart. Thank you. 😊
THIS IS TOTALLY AWESOME!!! I NEVER WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THIS VIDEO POSSIBLE let alone did I EVER DREAM of such a confrontation between Superman the Man of Tomorrow and the Deathstar from The Empire in Star Wars! Omigosh! I recognize each of the scenes clipped together from Star Wars and Superman movies. The Superman scenes are taken from all four original Superman movies directed by Donner, Lester and Furie! Superman fighting in outer space is something I’VE ALWAYS WANTED and, I hope to one day find current superheroes in movies battle space armadas outside ships in the vacuum of space. In my opinion DC and MARVEL are wasting a valuable opportunity by not having Thor, Shazam and Kal-El battle galactic menaces in the cosmos! Combining the popularity of two genres, outer space-Science Fiction and superheroes, would create a cult following earning tremendous profits! Whoever you or YOU ALL at APRICEPRODUCTION are, you get TEN THUMBS UP and I’m not a guy easily impressed! Carry on, Carry on!
Amazing work ive watch this clip like 10 times, the sheer genius of combining two of my favourite movies together. Would love to see the sequel the emperor Darth Sidious vs Superman 👍🙂
That. was. EPIC !!! You did not only an edit, you also transmit the entire magical atmosphere that I felt in Superman The Movie. And believe me, not everyone ( for not saying no one as I know ) is able to do this kind of thing. That was a masterpiece to assemble both movies. I had this little smile during 8 min I’m just loosing my words. Fantastic work ! Superman The Movie made us believe a man can fly Now you make us believe Chris is still alive Keep make us dream !
Several of the same bit part actors were in both the Superman and Star Wars franchises. John Ratzenberger, for instance, was in both Empire and Superman II. I can't think of anyone who was in both the first Superman and first Star Wars though.
In loving memory of:
Christopher Reeve
Peter Cushing
David Prowse
Margot Kidder
Susannah York
Harry Andrews
Trevor Howard
Marlon Brando
You'll believe a fan can cry.
ALSO....in loving memory of James Earl Jones who recently passed as well.
this was better than most of the movies that are out
Indeed.
I want to see this in the movies
@@davidfeldman9679 I wish that too
But it just can't happen
The trailer is awesome though
Khhe@@davidfeldman9679
Fun fact: David Prowse, the guy that was in the Darth Vader suit, actually trained Christopher Reeve to become ripped for his Superman role!
Dang....just imagine how ripped Vader was in that suit.
Also John Williams did the scores for both Star Wars and the Superman films.
Cool Beans !!!!!
@@larry1350 John Williams only did the music for the first Superman movie. Ken Thorne did the music for Supermans II and III, using material from John Williams.
Me emocionou
That part where he went back and fixed the moon. Classic Superman, I teared up a little.
Not sure why he had to weld it though, gravity is a thing
Awesome. Better than any of the latest Disney installments!
1:28 "You don't know the power of the dark side" - a cut momentarily showing Darkseid after that would have been epic!
That’ll be awesome 👏🏻
He would have fit better in the role of Emperor Palpatine
I love it when Superman puts the moon back together... it's so much cooler than using the "rebuild the great wall of China vision" in Superman 4.
He was originally supposed to rebuild it using super speed and heat vision but the budget wouldn’t allow that.
I love how the Superman 2 theme (end credits Version) is playing as he destroys the Death Star
5:28 The force is strong, with this one. Haha absolutely got me. Reeve for sure resurrected. The best. And extreme editing skills aswell!!
Beautifully well-done mate. Seeing Christropher Reeve back in action as the man of steel is enough to bring a tear to the eye of any Richard Donner Superman fan.
I cant believe this, this moved me much more than several movies from DC and marvel!!!
It's a great extension. He was taught never to interfere but, knowing what could happen to his adopted planet, he has to make a decision.once again, the extension just adds to the brilliance of this great video. Thanks Mate.
Thanks bud!

As a child growing up in the 70s; I always felt Superman would win against the Empire!
These 8 minutes vastly surpassed ANY superhero movie that came out after SUPERMAN II (1980). I thoroughly enjoyed that! Will be watching it again and again. Nicely done! Thank you for this!
Better than infinity war?
Me too.
Batman 1989 and Batman Returns were great too.
I am truly amazed that this video isn't more popular! As far as I'm concerned... this is cannon and I will be sharing this video with everyone I know! Absolutely brilliant!
Jesus this was awesome. How did I miss this one for the past 2 years?
Absolutely brilliant. Very well put together - a sort of fusing of two of the biggest Sci Fi films in the 70's - well done you!!
Superman doing the Death Star trench run is something I didn’t know I needed in my life, but I feel complete now
That 🤬 was FUN to watch. BRAVO! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I grew up watching Reeves as Superman and this here had me smiling throughout. Awesome work!
Wow. WOW! If only Chris and Richard Donner could have seen this--they would’ve been amazed!

I throughly enjoyed this and I hope to see others like it. It's a fitting tribute to Christopher Reaves.
Good work, The idea that Vader was the cause of the destruction of Krypton was a cool idea and it played out well, my reaction was that of horror!
I agree with you on that.
Just when I thought the first version was flawless, you go and do this. As a lifelong Superman fan again you hit me right in the feels with this. Absolutely brilliant way better than the dark garbage nobody asked for that wb has been making
Exactly.! That’s why I stopped watching all these DCTV WB Crap Shows that have been on cable. ALL of them; Past, Present and future.
Hear hear
Ditto for the crap that Disney is doing to Star Wars.
You took 2 of my favorite movie franchises and made them work together perfectly!
That was absolutely amazing! It’s official, now I’ve seen everything!
APRICEPRODUCTION RIP to Richard Donner. Thank you for the other week doing your version of Superman 2 Take care mate.
This is without a doubt, the best mash-up vid I've seen since
"Invasion: The Battle For Earth!"
Amazing trailer and spot on with the editing 👌 👏 10 out of 10
It's such a shame this couldn't be a actual real movie 😪
Best Superman AND Star Wars movie...ever
Agreed.
That was more fun than I thought it would be! Great job!
How the hell does this not have more views?? It is outstanding. Awesome effort, thanks for sharing.

Yep. All 4 movies were used. All the music was from Su2, moon was 4, plastic and laser vision was 3, most flying was 1&2.
I seen these 2 movies in the Cinema in the 70's.
“Mister Luthor, you believe that story about a giant artificial moon with some kind of enormous energy weapon?”
“Believe it, Otis? Of course I believe it. That it came here has something to do with the planet Krypton. Whoever built that thing somehow has it in For Superman.”
This was extremely well done.
That smile at end was you Aprice, i didn't think it would be impressive but it was most impressive.
This was awesome. Should be in theaters 🎥🎥
Definitely superior to anything Disney has put out under the Star Wars tag.

Really enjoyed this, respect to the maker 👍
You guys clearly put a LOT of work into that! Excellent job!!!!

THIS WAS GENIUS EDITING !!!
CONGRATS. Greetings from Brasil
This was mental 👌😅 what a combination, Superman and Starwars!
Christopher Reeve would have been more proud of this than Superman 4 if this had been made. I love how Vader’s ship just turns on a dime.
God bless Christopher Reeve. May he rest in peace.
I just found this today and I really enjoyed it, I hope to see more like this in the future.
I love Christopher Reeve Superman ❤❤❤
That was AWESOME! Thanks for that. It was really fun to watch! 😃
The movie we all need! 💥💥Fantastic edits once again! 💖
Thanks again :)

Very nice, Maestro! Christopher Reeve: the one and only Superman. May he rest in peace.
I've watched this a few times already. It's really good. I'm sharing it as much as I can.
Did you not see my comment already here I watched it before I love it lol great mash up!
@@MRSceneITALL No didn't see it. I notice I'm not getting all my notifications/comments.
I enjoyed it. There’s no way that the footage would have got onto a crystal for Kal to view in the fortress. Fantastic editing.
Very imaginative and just all around Freaking awesome!!!
Brilliant stuff. Well done and much worthwhile watching.
This deserves way, WAY more views.

Exhaust ports? Superman don’t need no stinking exhaust ports!
Man this is amazing
Omg this is what I needed. Beautifully done.

Ah yes, the TV cut if you get what I mean ; )
I know what you mean Superman :)
Thumbs up you sly cat you!!!
I'm sorry about your home planet 😔
You have done well Kal-El. Watching you avenge your mother planet was a beautiful sight.
Amazing work ive watch this clip like 10 times, the sheer genius of combining two of my favourite movies together. Would love to see the sequel the emperor Darth Sidious vs Superman 👍🙂
At 3:54, I busted a gut laughing when Superman just kicks one of the tie-fighters into the other three, like it was nothing.
This was absolutely brilliant!
This had me glued and literally on the edge of my seat, more so than Wonder Woman 1984 or the Joss Whedon Justice League. Well done!
This was crazy and I loved it!
Oh my God!!!! I had a blast watching this!! Superman really played ball with the deathstar! EPIC!!
Back when I was a kid, I loved STAR WARS and SUPERMAN...and watching this video gives me a giddy thrill.
Omg this is brilliant. Looks incredible. So much work involved. Fair play. Well done.
This is awesome.
John Williams making some serious overtime with this one 🤣
That’s because, John Williams did Superman the movie, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, jaws, 1941, tin tin, ET, and close encounters of the third kind.
That. was. EPIC !!! You did not only an edit, you also transmit the entire magical atmosphere that I felt in Superman The Movie. Superman The Movie made us believe a man can fly
Now you make us believe Chris is still alive
Keep make us dream !
it was diffrient i liked it
Still a better film than anything disney have given us
I'm surprised this hasn't got already like 20 mil views.
Great work.
Good guy superman welding a big rock floating in space
I didn’t know I needed this, but thank you. This is great!
Better than 90% of new Disney Star Wars.
The Death star and it's fleet never stood a chance against the man of steel. That's my Supes lol
More please 😎
Very cool!!! Definitely better then a lot of stuff I’ve seen. You honor Christopher Reeves well!
One of my best my movies really good Job!!
This was absolutely brilliant. Good job.
Much much better than the current SW tv shows
CHRISTOPHER REEVE
MARLON BRANDO
SUSANNAH YORK
TREVOR HOWARD
HARRY ANDREWS
JAMES EARL JONES
PETER CUSHING
Absolutely BRILLIANT!!! Thank you sir!!! I love this!!!!!
Thank you Jonathan :)
I’d love to see more Superman videos in the future if you decide to do more!!
I've always been biased in favor of the Galactic Empire but I totally feel this is the perfect outcome. Well done!
HOLY RAO THATS SO FREAKIN AWESOME !!!!!!
The only thing these two movies have in common is one man. John Williams
Several of the same bit part actors were in both the Superman and Star Wars franchises. John Ratzenberger, for instance, was in both Empire and Superman II. I can't think of anyone who was in both the first Superman and first Star Wars though.
this was so awesome! love it! i love star wars and superman so this was just too good to be true
This is actually a very cool crossover if they were real LOL.. Nice work :D
I am REAL!!!!
This is so creative and the rules make sense for why Superman would destroy the death star.
Yeah even if he hadn't destroyed the death Star in this thing he certainly would have rendered it's super laser permanently out of action!
Thank you for making this!!! This is AMAZING!! Great job and great work!! I am 54 years old, this was MY Superman!!! #memories!!!
Pretty cool!
Awesome! Great idea and very well done 🙂
kkkkkkkkkkkkk GREAT!!! VERY, VERY GOOD!!!!
