Those flat calm deep spots always annoy me, I know there’s big fish in them...but I don’t know how to get to the fish without spooking them! I’ve tried lobbing streamers from way out or stalking up and nymphing but hardly ever get any takes

It really rubs me the wrong way when you say "whenever you're ready" for your client to release the fish, makes them seem stupid when they clearly aren't.
