Philip Crozier, Organist at St George's Anglican Church, Montreal, and Music Director at Westmount Park United Church, Montreal, plays the 'Adagio' from 'Organ Sonata in G Minor, Op.35, Third Movement, on the organ of Blackburn Cathedral, Wednesday Lunchtime Recitals Series, July 17th 2024 *** This Sonata was commissioned by the Provost and Canons of Blackburn Cathedral for performance by the composer at the opening recital on the new organ on 10th January, 1970. It is dedicated to the then Cathedral Organist, Dr John Bertalot.
