The history of pizza rolls is pretty interesting. I remember their "egg rolls" (made on the same machine and using the same wrapper). They were awful. After that failure, they decided to put pizza toppings into them and a new snack food was born! They're really best when deep fried.
I've grown accustomed to tossing the cooked (fried or baked) pizza rolls in a seasoned olive oil+dry herb+grated cheese+granulated garlic mixture just before serving. So extra!

I have worked in the produce section of my local grocery story for the last 4 summers when I was on break for college. The reason that wonton and eggroll wrappers are often found in the produce section is because they need to be kept cold, and the crisping rack where you find leafy veggies and meat substitutes is a nice, refrigerated area that happens to include things you might incluce in eggroll and wonton fillings. You might also find them with things like the refrigerated canned biscuits or closer to the meats and dairy depending on your grocery store. So when it comes to wonton wrappers, it's not really about categorizing them by their type of food, but where you can keep them cold for customers.

When I make these, I literally just mix the sauce, cheese and pepperoni all together to speed up the process. I do not cut my edge and use only one layer of the wrap. I use tapioca starch with water to seal. I may have to try doubling it to see how my kids like it. Looks yummy!

I fry my Totino's. It's so good. Instead of trimming them, I'd just put more filling and make them bigger... LOL I also make pizza logs with the egg roll wrappers. I just use the brick mozzarella and cut them into sticks. I lay down 4-5 slices of pepperoni in a row, put the mozzarella stick in the middle and roll it up. Fry it until golden. Dip it in marinara sauce or pizza sauce. I make it all the time.

Chicken wings come out amazing in an air fryer! I don't like the mushy-squishy texture you get at wing joints so I love that I can get them super crispy in the air fryer! 390 degrees for 25 mins, tossing basket every 10 mins. Take out and toss in melted butter/salt for plain, or then also toss in sauce.

Frozen empanadas dough is closer in texture then the Won Ton sheets...most Spanish Stores have then or maybe on line if there isn't a store near you...the come in a off white dough and a orange-ish color and in two sizes...small and large...when you fry them they get like a bubbly crunchy texture ...!

Totinos Party Pizza is awesome. Lots of people would say, “That’s not pizza!” Yeah, it barely is. But, it’s delicious. I bake them until the crust is bubbly and crunchy. And sometimes it’s 4/$5 at my local grocery. Highly recommend.

What a crazy coincidence! I sat down to watch youtube videos with my pizza rolls (haven't eaten them in quite some time) and here you are making a homemade version!
We make pizza eggrolls sometimes. Eggroll wrappers, take a mozzarella stick and a long slice of sausage, some green pepper, pepperoni, etc. and wrap it up and deep fry them. Then can use pizza sauce for dipping. Absolutely delicious when you don't mind getting a little bit fat.
I love my hot air fryer and have found that if I pre-spray something with cooking oil (canola spray), the food comes out even crispier while still losing most if not all of the oil or fat in or on it. Also, for something cold or large, like egg rolls or cold fried chicken, if I warm it in the microwave first and then H.A. fry it, it comes out better i.e. crispy (and grease-free) on the outside while still hot and moist on the inside.
I want to try those Totino’s pizza rolls so hard hahaha. I’m planning a travel to the US later this year and I will buy some because they look so delicious

Totinos Party Pizza is awesome. Lots of people would say, “That’s not pizza!” Yeah, it barely is. But, it’s delicious. I bake them until the crust is bubbly and crunchy. And sometimes it’s 4/$5 at my local grocery. Highly recommend.

We make pizza eggrolls sometimes. Eggroll wrappers, take a mozzarella stick and a long slice of sausage, some green pepper, pepperoni, etc. and wrap it up and deep fry them. Then can use pizza sauce for dipping.
Absolutely delicious when you don't mind getting a little bit fat.

I love my hot air fryer and have found that if I pre-spray something with cooking oil (canola spray), the food comes out even crispier while still losing most if not all of the oil or fat in or on it.
Also, for something cold or large, like egg rolls or cold fried chicken, if I warm it in the microwave first and then H.A. fry it, it comes out better i.e. crispy (and grease-free) on the outside while still hot and moist on the inside.
