Looks great, let us know how it responds once you’ve completed it.

hey, thanks! So I'm thinking of doing a video on the MSD box soon. Id probably show that in the video, for now its just the stock 'LS1' timing curve that comes preloaded on the box

Are you sure about those rear springs? Tighter coils to the top no? Asking because I just installed rear cargo springs on 86 El Camino that looked just like the ones you have pictured. Wider spaced coils to the bottom (closer to the road) tighter up towards the bed of car 🤷‍♀️

good point, there weren't any instructions and the research I'd done was inconclusive (people saying it doesn't matter)...The only way to find out will be to test them, and flip them around and see if there's a change. I could be off in left field of course...

@@av8bud It does matter... tighter coils up towards car to hold weight of car. Looser coils to road side for softer ride. You don’t want stiffer side of coils to the road. Shouldn’t be to hard to swap them when you get time. 👍🏻

Does the vehicle need to be off the ground for this installation?

it certainly helps yes... i had it on jack stands under the frame rails, and had to adjust my large jack under the differential periodically to increase and reduce load on the suspension to loosen and tighten most of the bolts...id suggest playing around with it to see how it moves around for you.
