And assuming he has managed to hold on to much of the fortune he made as a player, plus he's married and has lots of friends, hes done brilliantly for himself really. Hello, that is not Ronaldo Nazario R9, that is Adriano, an amazing Brazilian striker that burned himself in a much worse fashion than Cassano and at a younger age. He lives now in a Favela in Brazil, a very poor sort of neighborhood that is common in that country.
Cassano had more potential than R9. He could create goals from nowhere and play with the keepers. The difference is that R9 used his full potential to become one of the best strikers in the history and probably the best in the last 25 years, while Cassano wasted it all. The sad part is that he never got injuried like R9 or never had personal issues like Adriano. His downfall came because of his childlike mindset.
I watched Cassano since he started his career till he retired, Some people were calling him italian Maradona. The best his days were with AS Roma amd Sampdoria. if he did not move from Roma, he could complish something better in his career. Cassanos home was at Milan. I´ve honestly never seen him so happy as he was when was there. HIm and Ibra really bonded aswell being called "Batman & Robin" they had awesome chemistry. I felt so bad for him when Ibra left for OSG and he really wanted to leave Milan :( breaks my heart.
Disagree his home was with Milan. As he said himself, he should have never left Roma. Consider how close Totti took them to more titles, finishing second a ridiclious number of times over the poast 2 decades. He needed help in the form of another genius. Roma missed out on 4 or 5 titles within a few points but were the best football team in Italy in many of those seasons. Cassano would have been the tipping point to win. It would have been a very different story for Roma with multiple titles. Totti and Cassano chemistry was unmatched.

Father's figure is not necessary, it's an excuse for weak men.. He lived in poverty and that should have motivated him to stay at the top once he became famous, sometimes it's necessary to learn from other ppl mistakes to improve on yourself.. Totti lived with parents when cassano was at Roma, Totti offered him his home and family, Cassano moved in and ignored Totti's advice.. he had support and love

Maybe 2009/10 was the first time Sampdoria qualified for the Champions League, but that’s a bit misleading since they played the European Cup-final in 1992 (before it was called ”Champions League”) 2. Italy did not take ”a vital point” against Sweden in Euro 2004. That late Swedish equalizer cost Italy their qualification for the quarterfinals. 3. Spain’s Euro 2012 win was their third.

Cassano had more potential than R9. He could create goals from nowhere and play with the keepers. The difference is that R9 used his full potential to become one of the best strikers in the history and probably the best in the last 25 years, while Cassano wasted it all. The sad part is that he never got injuried like R9 or never had personal issues like Adriano. His downfall came because of his childlike mindset.

I watched Cassano since he started his career till he retired, Some people were calling him italian Maradona. The best his days were with AS Roma amd Sampdoria. if he did not move from Roma, he could complish something better in his career. In Roma , the environment is very emotional, he can not find any better place to forgive him about his faults like Roma.

I think Spain were European Champions in the 1960s when Real were massive. They and the Soviet Union won it before Italy in 1968. Spain and the Soviets 1960 or 1964 between them, can't remember.

Cassanos home was at Milan. I´ve honestly never seen him so happy as he was when was there. HIm and Ibra really bonded aswell being called "Batman & Robin" they had awesome chemistry. I felt so bad for him when Ibra left for OSG and he really wanted to leave Milan :( breaks my heart.
Disagree his home was with Milan. As he said himself, he should have never left Roma. Consider how close Totti took them to more titles, finishing second a ridiclious number of times over the poast 2 decades. He needed help in the form of another genius. Roma missed out on 4 or 5 titles within a few points but were the best football team in Italy in many of those seasons. Cassano would have been the tipping point to win. It would have been a very different story for Roma with multiple titles. Totti and Cassano chemistry was unmatched.

I dont blame them. I dont know how i would have reacted to the transition from poverty and the streets to fame and riches. Without any father figure. These new young players (Mbappe, Neymar, Halland......) they learn from these stories but the Cassanos had no blue print to follow. 1. Maybe 2009/10 was the first time Sampdoria qualified for the Champions League, but that’s a bit misleading since they played the European Cup-final in 1992 (before it was called ”Champions League”)
2. Italy did not take ”a vital point” against Sweden in Euro 2004. That late Swedish equalizer cost Italy their qualification for the quarterfinals.
3. Spain’s Euro 2012 win was their third.
