    Kershaw seems to be making solid knives for just about every knife user. Assisted, not assisted, entry steels to high performance steels, American made and not... I feel that wherever you are on your knife journey, Kershaw (or ZT) has something for you. Great review Jerad.

      They definitely do, I hear many people give ZT a hard time that I dont necassary believe they deserve, Imo I think they do a pretty good job, they built some edc sized knives for a couple years that everyone was saying they wanted, while still building some hard use knives. And now they have built another large hard use knife. But people will always have some kind of complaining.

    Link is my very favorite Kershaw. But I will say that just about everything in their America lineup is really good.

      I agree they make great edc size knives, hard use knives and budget knives with super steels and regular budget models that are USA made for about as good as a price your gonna find, They really are a great company especially when you had ZT into it

    This has been my edc overseas, for the past few months. I called Kershaw and they sent me a free.deep clip & I put 3m ladder grip tape on the non clip side, which makes it perfect for me. Can't beat this in m390, for the price.

    • @NeevesKnives
      @NeevesKnives  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its a very hard knife to beat and Kershaws m390 versions are about as good as you can get for knife in m390 under 100 and USA made

    I would love if they would make the link in a manual model! Other than that, it's a great blade. Awesome edge you put on it!

    I own one kershaw knife, the leek. I really loved the sleek look of it, it isn't to heavy, and the feel of it is nice. I've had it for almost z year and carried it basically every day, and the blade has kept surprisingly sharp. The clip is getting scratched on the edges, but if I was a little gentler I'm betting it would be in perfect shape. Overall, I like kershaw more than any other brand of knife I've owned. I'd absolutely love to own more kershaw, perhaps in the future!
    One question though, you said liner lock many times in the video. To me, liner lock meant that I has q lock that prevents if from opening, is that true?

    • @NeevesKnives
      @NeevesKnives  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's an assisted liner lock. Liner meaning the lock lines the inside of c the handle

    • @archercat9154
      @archercat9154 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NeevesKnives ah, I understand! The leek I own, had a small sliding mechanism that positions over the edge of the blade when closed, so it can't be opened, unless its slid back. Are there many other knifes that have that feature, and does that have a name for it?

    The Kershaw Cryo is the only one I have. It's the one that got me more curious about knives. I've been thinking about getting another Kershaw.

      If you can doit, they are most definitely worth it and they are great users that you can be proud of for a really good price, USA MADE m390 great action how can you go wrong. The Bareknucle is the best one imo

    Hi there, good vid! I have a question, when you lose the assisted side of the knife, if this happens does it continue to open smoothly and without issue, or will this affect the user experience of the knife? Thank you!

    2 questions if you don't mind 1) how do you spell your first name 2) some people say the launch 1 is an auto link, have you handled one, and would you agree?

    • @NeevesKnives
      @NeevesKnives  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jerad, and yes i would agree that is basically an auto link, but the link is already assisted, so they are both kind of autos in a way, id love to see a manual version

    Great review! So, I still prefer a USA-made knife, but with Kershaw, I'm never really sure. Like you said, they're probably mostly Chinese parts, assembled here. I believe, according to U.S. manufacturing laws, if 20% is ASSEMBLED in the U.S., it can say "Made in USA" on it. So, inquiring minds (or maybe, just mine) want to know.... Are Kershaw's "USA" knives (I guess the same can be asked about Kizer) really made here? The "going into battle USA Flag" is nice, but my guess is, more for marketing than the truth.
