I just gave my old Kershaw Blur to a co-worker and she loves it. I enjoy exposing people to knives that are better than the $5 knives they picked up at a swap meet.

I love Kershaw knives. In 1994 while working for a helicopter company in Maui I bought a Ken Onion model from the local Snap On dealer who came to our hangar weekly. I still have that Ken Onion and it's still my favorite EDC knife. I just now fell in love with the Dividend as it reminds me of the P-38 Mustang, one of the most beautiful aircraft in American history. Thanks for displaying it, Dave. Sold!!

@@christopherskipp1525 The Snap On dealer did not know the name and the only inscriptions are Ken Onion and the numbers 1550. Presently I have it in a Hyde & Drink leather belt sheath along with a lighter. It's buried in my overland camping gear.

I could catch some crap for this but I actually have more time for Kershaw than for ZT. I know they’re basically the same company but I was one of the unlucky people to get a 0770CF with an improperly heat treated blade, the operative term there being “one of.” Add to that the fact that they couldn’t work with Maxamet without it warping & actually gave up & I’m done with the ZT sub brand.
By contrast the Kershaw branded stuff always seems to exceed my expectations for a budget brand, so I’ll be sticking with the cheaper stuff.

I bought the "shark tooth" Dividend because it's sorta rare to find CPM-D2 instead of just D2. I used it until I dulled the hell out of it and threw it on my Edge Pro. It took some TLC, but dear god it got so sharp its like one of those knives you just kinda don't want to use for practical reasons. Well done.

The Link with 20cv is a real winner. Hands down, it is the best budget priced knife with a super steel.
Sure, it won't be a hard use workhorse knife with the liner lock compared to a triad lock or axis lock, but the blade material and not too thin a blade (looking at you bugout) lends to a fantastic medium use knife with superb longevity.

@@MrDavelake yes, that's true. But, from what I saw from some disassembly videos of speedsafe, the spring act as the detente. If you remove the spring, there is nothing to hold the blade in place and it freely swings open.
