i loved this song for the complex guitar bit, and you nailed it, great cover!!
Thank you! I realized in the year since uploading this I made a few mistakes. Might try to reupload another one sometime
This is great man, you should def do more songs from the new album!
Nice mate! You should cover blankenship as well!
Jose Carlo hey thanks! working on blankenship rn!
Great playing man, keep up the good work! :)) (Also I like ur sweater)
Thank you for the kind words! Hoping to upload another video soon!
@@nateguthrie Awesome man!
amazing guitar
thank you!
Was looking for reviews of cyclone II's and what do ya know, I found a cover of one of favorite bands along with someone playing a cyclone with... humbuckers? so cool
do more covers!!

No idea if you’ll see this but have you looked into trying to learn Andrew’s part? Watching videos of him live, it looks like he’s playing in a different tuning and doing much different parts. It looks like he’s playing in Standard but with the low E dropped to B
Hey, from what I’ve seen andrew seems to play a baritone when they do horsehead live so he’d probably be tuned to b standard. No idea if I’ll end up trying to learn those parts but it’d definitely be fun
what pedals are you using for the feedback parts? rlly interested to how diiv do it. sick cover btw!
for the feedback parts i'm using a boss ds1 and a way huge swollen pickle at the same time which gives me a solid amount. cole and andrew have new pedal boards for this album/tour, but i think they use the proco rat for a lot of the distorted stuff. heres a link to their new boards, hopefully this helps! instagram.com/p/B27HuUuHiTb/?igshid=19p8s82jla38e

@@nateguthrie fuckin legend mate
@@nateguthrie thx a lot!

What are your ds 1 settings on this?
Family Pauwels sold the ds1 a while ago so I don’t know exactly, but I think the settings were: tone 11 o’clock, level 12 o’clock, distortion maxed
Please tell me where you found that sweater
i found it at a savers a few years ago, the tag says design crew if that helps narrow down what kind it is lol
Nate G thanks
intro effect ? thanks 🙏🏽
Some light plate reverb and distortion should get you close to the intro sound!
Nice cover but mucha ropa
what tuning is this? drop d?
Haley Welliver yeah drop d
E tune or Drop string?
drop d
Tabs please 💖💖
🤍
Is that an american performer?
Very nice work, cool guitar!
You can check my channel I make guitar covers too 😊
I cover a lot of diiv songs myself, do you also find this album the most boring to play of their work?
honestly i've been enjoying playing it so far. it's definitely less spacey and reverberated, so it might be a little less fun effects-wise, but i think it's still fun/ unique in its own way.
2:29 your air guitar failed you lol those are the total wrong notes :p dare you to record this with no guitar backing track
ye I know it’s the second sentence of the description. I’d love to reupload a more accurate version but I dont care anymore. Music doesn’t bring joy like it used to.
@@nateguthrie Nah I honestly think if you went at it raw and just improvised it could sound dope. I just think you should do it raw even if it's different instead of play over their guitar
