Nice book haul, and it's great your giving them to students to help encourage and motivate to hopefully read more amazing books. We definitely need more teachers like you. The Hollow Skull has such an awesome cover so cool.
@@DoubleDietz thank you so much. I sure hope the kids like these books. The movie I Know What You Did..... Was pretty good. When I saw the movie I didn't know it was a book either:)
I'm glad you have your students write in cursive. In the Fall of 2000, I subbed for grades 6-8 for eight weeks after a teacher quit. I filled two large dry-erase boards with beautiful cursive writing and the students couldn't read it. I never did that again.
I wish I had a teacher like you in high school! All I ever did was play on my phone whenever I had free time after a test or something. Teachers never cared to recommend me a book or even encourage me to read in general!
Teacher Tough Love! I don't believe that you have to be stern with your students. You're too inspiring for them to not want to listen and learn from you. Teachers do impact lives. My 12th grade English teacher was so excited for English Literature that I couldn't help but Love English literature. Especially poetry. He was so cool he ask us students to bring our favorite LPs to class and he would play them to us and explain how the lyrics to songs are another form of poetry. He was my inspiration for loving to read. Keep doing what you're doing Jason because you Are impacting Lives! -James & Bella!
Just finished book THEM I ordered from you on Pango and man oh man! That was a wild read! Never read anything like it. Lots of sci-fi weirdness mixed in with some wisdom about education. Enjoyed and creeped out by the book, thanks!
@@Sunnyvalereject24 I'm looking for to The Guardian. Will let you know my thoughts. I read the first few pages the other day as a taster and really like the writing so far! Thanks!
Oh, I forgot. James Michener didn't publish his first Novel until the ripe old age of 40.! It was Not his goal at first to he a writer. So it's Never too late to start. But as you say. What are you waiting for?

Nice haul! I’m sure you’ll be able to fit each of them to the right kid. Also I never knew that I Know What You Did Last Summer was a book!

It's a good think you're doing at that school. Keep it up.

That's right, cursive is like a foreign language to them.
