    Got on a plane a few days ago and everyone’s tv synchronously started playing some stupid ad before we would take off. Audio played directly into the cabin (because everyone was being forced to watch the same ad). I thought that was so forced like everyone must sit here and watch this ad before we are allowed to take off

    Unless you're buying the actual jersey off of a player's back, it's not gonna have the advertisements on it, for what that's worth.
    And the only way we're going to get a better advertising landscape is legislation. Getting lawmakers to ignore lobbyists and actually pass measures that corpos don't like is damn near impossible these days, though, unless something bad happens to a celebrity. THEN we care...
