Those are really cool. Even though the Chaplain is based the most on Blanche, I think the one-winged angel pulls off his style the best imo. You can easily see it as a full paged spread in a Codex. One of the coolest parts of the Risen from a modeling standpoint is that parts of the black armor can be painted bone instead as honor markings. So, you can have all black armor with one bone arm, or a bone helmet, or a checkered glove, etc... really adding more character to each model.
Many thanks! Would love to see that guy in a codex some day, so fingers crossed! XD. And I didn't know a about the bone-colored armour parts. Is that from the Horus Heresy era backstory? Or is that something the Fallen would do?
@@dehoofdwerker Yes, It's Heresy era honor markings. If a Heresy DA takes a mortal wound meant for another DA and survives, they can paint a piece of their armor bone colored. If you see a DA back then in almost all bone-colored armor, or total bone, you knew he was a complete badass and hero of the Legion.
Many thanks! I actually don't have a very big collection, as most of these are either sold or direct commissions! That's one of the reasons why I do these videos, to archive my stuff! :)
Many thanks! Yeah I usually try to show the artwork as well, as there's an inspiration for most of my builds. Especially the Blanche artworks. And I heard about the Mk2 rumours too, but I've never been a really big fan of that mark. I always loved the mk3 and was about to finally buy a pack and get into re-sizing them, but now that they announced the new kit I'll just wait for a bit. They look pretty great.
Awesome conversions! So characterful. 👍
Thanks a lot!
Wow! They look stupendous!!!
Many thanks!!
Love how you showed us the art that inspired these builds!
Good to hear!
Man I miss old 40k art, so gritty!
Yeah those were the days. But some of the more recent artwork is pretty amazing as well!

@@mykra9905 Ah, like that! That sounds cool. I might make use of that in a future build, so thanks!
Wow they are so cool !
Do you plan to show us your entire collection at one point ? I would love to see that !

Man, I wish I could make some sick models like this for my Dark Angels army
Many thanks! And just keep kitbashing, it gets better! :D
Concerning the new Horus Heresy kits: I was hoping for a MK2 kit which was rumored a while ago. Nothing officially announced yet I think.

Very nicely done.
Thank you very much!
2:40 I think the artist is either Paul Dainton or Karl Kopinski
Ah, great to know. Many thanks! I'll look them up
Really nice models. Groetjes van Den Bosch
Hartelijk dank! 😁👍👍
