I was imagining how funny it would be if there was a Create addon called Destroy that basically focuses on the combat side of Create but now its made real
and they made it focus on ACTUAL FUCKING CHEMISTRY which kicks ass. I can't wait to see how it's implemented in future modpacks.

As noted in the description, Destroy is in beta so nothing is really final. That being said, 0.4 and 0.5 have recently released, which fix some more egregious problems, including the issues with centrifugation displayed at the end here.
A couple of things for viewers to note:
- The unique abilities of the explosives won't be going away. The current plan is a new block which allows you to mix any combination of Destroy's explosives, and depending on the combination you'll get the sorts of features listed in the tooltips of the existing features.
- I think the best way to separate the components of LPG would be cooling it, and piping away the liquids which condensate. You could also separate chemically - e.g. by introducing something that reacts selectively with one molecule in the mixture.
Awesome mod dude! Hopefully one day we'll have the proper processes to create cooling loops with the refrigerants, whether it be in your mod or an addon. It's definitely making me get back into another month or two of minecraft soon lol
Man I want to thank you, that mod is really bonkers, but its sooo hard to get into. Ponder schemes help a lot but please consider making an in game manual for it explaining some basic properties of various materials or giving some hints what can be done with each substance cause right now the content seems too overwhelming and i guess many players don't know where or how to start... I understand the idea of experimenting, its chemistry at the end of the day, but that fancy little chemist book would make such a huge difference and would make possible to get this mod attention it deserves in a much approachable way. This mod has the potential to be one of the best create addons so far and Im looking foward for updates Keep up the great work!

As a university student studying chemical engineering and a major create fan this mod just feels like it was made for me. I came to this video expecting the mod to simply have a few shallow features but I am blown away at the sheer depth and clear passion the dev has not just for the subject of chemistry, but also the create mod, it's esthetic and the ability to teach even complete beginners. I will definitely be keeping a close eye on this mod
Also a chemical engineer. I was smiling at this as well. I can't remember how many nights I've spent optimizing a solution for the Haber-Bosch process on Aspen during my school years.
@@MunifTheGreatlol I just completed a group project in aspen regarding the viability of producing biopropylene from biomass. Who knows. Maybe instead of aspen future chemical engineers will design their simulations in minecraft with actual, realistic results. One can dream
Not a chemical engineer, but I'm getting qualification to work as a lab technician alongside highschool, and the last three semesters include 4 or 5 subjects directly related to Chemical Engineering. This video put a smile on my face.
I've been saying for years that Minecraft can be used as an interactive teaching tool-Education Edition is awful unfortunately.
I love the mod too, id rename it "Create: Entropy" because its literally what you'll be doing.

You know, stuff in school can appear boring until its presented in the right way. School does a bad job of making things interesting

@@KwizzleHazzizle Nah, I love chemisty (I actually picked it as a subject, so its not compulsory) and the ideal gasses unit is pretty interesting as we can predict the behaviour of ideal* gasses and their properties, but I was just saying I didnt expect to find it in a Minecraft video 😅
(Btw we are doing entropy now, which is also a cool chapter, so yeah 👍)
@@KwizzleHazzizle But I do understand what you mean about school not making things interesting, as many people dont find physics and chemistry topics interesting at all (for example when I did a presentation on nuclear fusion), while I find them exciting!

Really hope that it can be eventually paired with Liftoff so you can fuel your engines with RP-1, Methane, Hydrazine, etc
I'm in liftoff discord and I'm gonna tell you that there's still no info about name or production of both fuel and oxidizer yet
So basically when aeronautics comes out create enjoyers will have chemistry and physics class but fun

I saw this mod on modrinth, I questioned why nobody had done a vid on it yet, and here we are
Honestly it took me a while to figure everything out but that was a big part of the fun
The usage of chemistry with real life basis is such a great concept for a minecraft mod. It not only makes use of what you learn but it also uses real life basis as a fun gameplay mechanic that rewards "YOU" the player who went out of their way to learn science. If someone is aware of something similiar (where you use actual science and math as gameplay mechanics) please tell me because I want stuff like this more.

i was talking to a friend about this yesterday, the create mod in itself and other addons like this can provide a fun and engaging learning experience, especially for people who learn better hands on (like me) as a huge science nerd whos been playing minecraft for like 12 years, im very excited for the future of the create mod and i hope addons like this can be proven useful for educational environments :3

The compact additions to regular Create alone already make this a great add-on and the in depth chemistry system is even cooler

First i thought the chemistry sounded cool but the new kinetics are something i've wanted for so long in Create. Can't wait for the day when you can make stuff like realistic car drivetrains in Minecraft.
So have you heard of Clockwork? It adds physics and you can build moving parts that interact with each other. I made a differential gear and a universal joint and I plan on making more car parts
@@KwizzleHazzizle I have! The possibilities to make practical vehicles with it are so cool and i imagine being able to use these kinetics to make them more realistic (even if it probably is unnessesary). Makes me wonder if things such as the open differential traction issue also happen in Minecraft. I'll be sure to keep an eye on your channel for more clockwork stuff!

The o m p stands for ortho meta para, which indicates the placement of the functional group on the carbon chain(benzene)
4:20 in real life refrigerant is consumed. In many cases you can recycle it, just consuming energy; but in some cases the cooling is due to an irreversible (or hard to reverse) process. an example would be mixing salt and ice, which reaches temperatures of 0F, or -18C
ah ok, so maybe some refrigerants are consumed, I didn't know that. I was thinking more of the stuff in my fridge or my car that stays in there for years

Just a note to add on the planetary gears it also rotates the gear and shaft at different speeds which opens alot of possibilities
One day Minecraft with create mod and all it's add-on will turn Minecraft into factorio

this food mod is pretty good honestly, the carbon tetrachloride gave a lot of saturation, and there was a food item named U-rine? i think? it gave many good effects, would recommend this mod, almost as good as farmers Delight and adds as many food items

Mabe the way to separate LPG is via cooling the gas and separating them by condensation temp. that's how we get commercial oxygen
Stuff like this makes me want to just somehow get all the create addons and compatibility mods working together and play for days on end

I like the new kinetic mechanisms included; they should even be included with Create vanilla by default, but skimming through this mod, what are some of the more useful utilities that you can make with these chemicals? Nickel's usefulness for instance seems questionable if it means going through hoops just to create a few fireworks?

Merging intuitivness and modularity of create with complexity of gregtech will become an ultimate modded tech minecraft experience. And it is happening now...
so there was create addon being worked on by eriksonn and ritchie which would add nuclear reactors, but apparently it was cancelled

I think to separate gases you should cool it down not heat becouse heated gasses mix together but cooled down they gain more dencity

Dunno, I think it depends on how it uses the forge tag system, because depending on material tags, the items should technically be interchangeable

Right now due to bugs, imbalance, and missing recipes, doing a survival playthrough of Destroy is basically impossible, speaking from experience.
