You could try some board games, there are so many different dynamics that you could maybe enjoy. My personal recommendation would be catan, I have played a milion times and I don't get bored because it's always different, and there are also different modes that you can play with a bunch of people. It has the crafting and building part that Lando likes, but you also compete and fight and get angry with others like Connor likes. You could even play it on discord itself... What Connor needs to do in Monster Hunter is to fight some Monsters on his own to get familiar with the game. Getting carried is the worst feeling you can have in Monster Hunter. So him getting use to the game solo AND watching a video tutorial on the weapon will help. Especially Long Sword. If he's not someone who enjoys doing parries and reading the monster to do those counters, he should play a different weapon. Connor should also just go into the training room and try every single weapon. He might like Gunlance, or Great Sword. But I think everyone will like Monster Hunter once they find the weapon they like and actually learn it.
Araki mare a part 6.5 or something between universes where there are a million Kars on Mars, and one wants to be a good guy and help the new Jojo. Basically, Kars steals Pucci's stand, and I think he kills him. Something something a new Dio or someone wants to absorb all the Kars and achieve more than heaven, and become a monster. Idk what the ending was, but it led to the part 7 universe.

Connor's description of his dreams doesn't sound like lucid dreaming to me. When I have lucid dreams, I'm 100% in control of them and I can change the setting at will. If a big monster was chasing me in a lucid dream, I would just make it disappear and put myself on the beach instead.

Or, it'll just cement that he hates it. 50/50. The man is an enigma in what he enjoys, as evidenced by a love of Souls and hatred of MonHun (which...I fully agree with, actually. Love Soulsborne, hate MonHun).
On a different topic, maybe you guys *should* try doing a little gardening. No, really. Strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, pick some easy fruit or vegetable plant and just enjoy yourself. Might even reinvigorate gaming for you; taking time off away from it.
17:37 ok, just want to add my "ummm acshually": danmei is just a chinese name for yaoi (we prefer the umbrella term bl but whatever) and while it is usually feudal era/wuxia/xianxia, it can be set in modern era or in the future, be slice of life, sci fi, detective, horror or whatever else
What Connor needs to do in Monster Hunter is to fight some Monsters on his own to get familiar with the game. Getting carried is the worst feeling you can have in Monster Hunter. So him getting use to the game solo AND watching a video tutorial on the weapon will help. Especially Long Sword. If he's not someone who enjoys doing parries and reading the monster to do those counters, he should play a different weapon.
Connor should also just go into the training room and try every single weapon. He might like Gunlance, or Great Sword. But I think everyone will like Monster Hunter once they find the weapon they like and actually learn it.
Araki mare a part 6.5 or something between universes where there are a million Kars on Mars, and one wants to be a good guy and help the new Jojo. Basically, Kars steals Pucci's stand, and I think he kills him. Something something a new Dio or someone wants to absorb all the Kars and achieve more than heaven, and become a monster. Idk what the ending was, but it led to the part 7 universe.

been kinda struggling with gaming too, i agree. the gang has picked up magic the gathering tho and that has been pog. MTG commander is a 4 player format that is pretty RNG based so even if you play with the same 100 card decks, it's incredibly unlikely the game will play out exactly the same (^.^) i couldn't get into yu gi oh, i just have 2 starter decks lmao.

From what I've seen, Kindle ads are only on the lockscreen and they're usually for other book recommendations so it's not as terrible as I thought they'd be lol
Also, some digital versions of books are MORE expensive than new paperback or hardback, which is INSANE to me lol
