Seeing as zelda is one of their most major franchises i dont think the lack of manpower is any problem. If you think about it, the reason almost every zelda-game is such a masterpiece is because every game gets so much time and effort put into it.
I agree with what u say 100% the timeline makes everything so understandble, my sister tells me that its a different link and a different stroy everytime but it even explains in the story about past heros and how there basically decedants of one another

I've played both. I have to say, the original's nostalgic, but the remake has some features which really aid the game. Tilting the 3DS, to control the angle of certain items, as well as the updated graphics, which added an extra polish to the game, without changing what lies beneath.
So with you saying that he turns into a Stalfos after the events in Majora's Mask. Plus in OoT, Fado says that if you get lost in the lost woods, you turn into a Stalfos if you are a Non-Kokiri, seeing how Link is actually Hylian, he got lost. Thank you sir, you have helped my theory.
