as a marincess player, it’s upsetting that the main boss monster (Aqua Argonaut) still doesn’t have an animation. And i have it as a Royal finish! and playstyle wise, I still have alot to learn from it but its so fun to play
To be fair, she wasn't on the anime, unlike Wonder heart... ... But wasn't Buuble Reef used more often? And before asking for any animation on your deck, just remember: #JusticeforEgyptianGods (And D/D)
Sad part with Trickstars is that they got support recently in MD, there is a normal spell called Angel of Blue Tears, however here's the kicker: It's not treated as a Trickstar card, the effect does nothing crazy or game changing, it's a UR for some reason, AND it's better in a stupid FTK strategy as it can search any normal trap in deck by banishing it after your opponent takes burn damage... like did we play the same deck Konami?
As someone who played synchrons as their first deck in high school, around 10ish years ago, kinda disappointed how the archetype ended up. When J.Speeder first came out, i was excited that it encouraged synchro summoning as hard as possible. Now i realized that lead to most variants of the deck being solitaire-style "win on the first turn, cuz you'll never recover if you dont." Leaves little room for any back-and-forth in the game.
If opponent sits after Junk speeder resolves, either will chain a Nibiru or has Lava golem / Sphere mode / Ruler... But sadly, can you blame them? Syncrho is the mechanic that has the most amount of omninegates, Red Abyss, Barone and the big boys are an example, unlike Tri-gate wizard which needs a whole board around it, Odd eyes Vortex, which not every Pend deck can access to, & Savage, who can't fit into a pure Synchro deck Ghoti is the spiritual successor of a syncrho interactive board, with the hyped mechanic of Accel Synchro at their back... Respect for whoever turns Junk speeder into all signers for the sake of fun
I love 5D's, and Yusei is my favorite main character in the entire franchise, but I hate how synchron is literally : if Speeder resolved, you win. If not, you lose. I hate those types of decks with that kind of gameplay, especially if the deck is centralized around one card to resolve
Sunavalon I'd say falls under the same umbrella as Dragon Link (if we're counting that as Rokkets), sure there's Rikka Sunavalon which is moreso Rikka than it is Sunavalon, but Sunavalon enables Plant Piles of Rikka, Aromage, Therions (sort of), and even Predaplant if you want The Rikka variant is the popular one for having powerful recovery, but leaning into its Sunavalon side hands you so much endboard power (though added fragility) that its other variant doesn't have, I don't even think Sunavalon combo is solved yet, the Plant pool that Sunavalon can abuse has barely been experimented with
The sad thing about Zexal is it had the potential to create so many new decks, but they just printed like 5 cards for said archetypes and then never touched them again Star Seraph, Umbral Horror, Battlin' Boxer, Butterfly Assasins, the Hands, the one Mosquito guy I forgot the name of And even the decks that did receive a substantial amount of cards (Chronomaly and Heroics come to mind) are still lacking in terms of power level when compared to modern standards
Yep, AND it showed up in the anime. That said, I wasn't sure if Dark World was actually decent on debut or if it only started to pick up steam with the structure deck + the release of Dangers.
I have a strange relation with Pendulums, is a I like them as a mechanic, but can't pilot them properly. I still made a Pend Magician deck and was fun for a while. I also own Salad and Marincess. Haven't played them in a while, but I know they still work so I'll revisit them later.
Pend magician is hard to use, if you want some easier decks to try out for a pend deck, I suggest performapal odd eyes, which could make a somewhat good end board and brick somewhat less, not saying they won’t
As a returning player, Shark/Fish XYZ is turning into new pet deck despite not watching Zexal yet. Though I'm guessing that's thanks to the synergy with the recent Full Armored XYZ engine since non-targeting removal on your opponent's turn via Full Armored Dark Knight Lancer s crazy. (Also, Toad is gone as of writing.) EDIT: I think you're right on Zexal as a soft reboot. AFAIK it's not part of the same timeline as DM-5DS and it seeming geared toward a younger demographic was probably in response to the lower ratings 5Ds had (since IIRC 5Ds actually aired at later time slots in Japan during its heyday to shoot for an older viewerbase, only for its reception to end up worse than re-runs of GX as a result).
Anime fan:But where is cyber angels oh dragon rose they are very good and go to top tier. Is no a deck is a engine oh when you used black rose dragón other that destroy the field
Egyptian gods are loads of fun to play! Nothing is more fun than using Soul Crossing to tribute all of your opponent's monsters to summon Slifer! (Yes it's easy to brick if you don't draw your Egyptian god, but hey...)
I weirdly have a ton of fun with sigfried's deck from the last season of classic yugioh. The valkyrie's they don't win too much but its still just generally fun to play with. I agree with your picks, I've tried most of these decks and they are still pretty decent. I weirdly still win with dark magican and get my arse kicked by blue eyes too often. Lol.
Code talker player here. The moment people see Accesscode in my Extra Deck they always try to banish it first, as if the rest of the crew couldn't OTK them anyways. Also I have two little cards that nobody uses, Firewall Dragon and Firewall Exceed Dragon.
Ok gonna be blunt. Top 3 decks I have used so far in master duel. Blackwings, Superheavy samurai, and salamangreats. I used Superheavy samurai before we got the new support and I loved it. It’s a literally spell deck punisher. If it tells ya anything I was able to stop shut down and destroy Sky Strikers with it.
HERO as we know it competitively (Omni Hero) doesn’t suck because isn’t actually an anime deck. It’s a MANGA deck lol All “anime” cards that were broken in the game actually came from the manga spinoffs. Think about Stratos and Light And Darkness Dragon. Vision Heroes and Absolute Zero also come from the GX comic.
Where's my Stormraiders? When I need to be careful about my attributes (Just ignore Plunder Patrol) while praying to get blessed by the dice I NEED ANSWERS KONAMI!
I've played Pendulum Magicians, but I have a tendency to bend towards Odd-Eyes Pendulum, since it's less lacking in terms of offense and also cause it's really funny to sit on Wizard Dragon and refuse to fucking die
You know for all the things I hate about arc v the decks aren’t one of them fun full of personality and concepts and put all the methods on the same level
Never know some good decks come from Arc-V. Form list in video, I only know D/D/D, SHS, Fluffal, and Yosenju :) It is very surprising to know that Phantom Knight is an anime deck. And I agree with you, PK strategy is mostly just turbo for other boss monsters. I love playing pure, and I hope PK gets better boss monsters for playing pure. . I actually like MR4 because we see a mechanic Arrow-spell in anime and it interesting to add it into the game (but actually, mostly I play control and don't care about Extra). Maybe Branded Lost as example if it became Arrow-spell; it searchable, has 2-3 link Arrow in top of the cards, it has some kind of restriction to summon Fusion only in the pointed zone, but give some additional buff effect like cannot be target or gain ATK/DEF. Or searchable Arrow-spell for pendulum that focus on their pendulum monster only like Majespecter, it will help them to swarm the field from extra deck without any link-climbing because we know Majespecter cannot do that.
The character who used them had like 2 duels and then got shafted. Also, the anime is the reason cards like Raider's knight and wing interact with both PK and Raid raptors, it's a symbol of the friendship between the characters who used them
Sacred Beast not being good?! Someone has never player with the new support, hell someone hasn't seen Sacred Beast Spright.
