Yes it is a strange name, someone told me about them at Busfest a few years back. They aren't really that expensive. I just had a look on ebay where I got mine and they don't have any but if you search baby moon disk they are some very similar
thanks for sharing just the exact model I am looking for, will be interesting to see a vid once you have solar power installed as that was on my mind at the beginning of the video until you later mentioned it. Cheers from Paul in a mega heatwave in Bournemouth.
@@FootstepsTyretracks thanks for the reply and the offer. I am not DIY one bit so would have to pay for a professional - hope you bought another one. Paul
When you get it the battery is to the right of the rear door so i the solar panel is bonded to the rear of the van it will be a very neat run . Remember the shell is one piece so only have the one hole drilled for the cable. Any questions please ask. We do currently have a van a Fiat Ducato Adria but it has just gone up for sale so we can get another Crafter and do another build.
I have just bought a T5 Autosleeper that’s automatic and it’s ok not as good as a dsg box but not bad. We had a non turbo a while ago and they are slow but if that doesn’t bother you they are cheaper. Good luck with your decision anymore questions just ask and I’ll try to help 🤙
I didn't have any problems to be very honest (after the boosting issue was fixed) but it was the 2.5. It felt very stable, not quite as fast as a normal t4. But like any T4 they do suffer from neglect worn shocks, and steering rubbers and the gear stick rubbers on a few I have tried were virtually non existent. You may find a really good one straight away but if not these things are not the end of the world. Good luck. Maybe take a look at a Facebook group called VW Coach-built collective.
No we sold her a little while back but we did like her probably the best T4 motorhome within easy reach if you are thinking of getting one you won’t be disappointed. If possible try to get the newer model they are a slightly better finish in my opinion
The moon discs suit thge era of the van, indeed in keeping and retro. I like👍👍👍
Yes they do don’t they, thanks for commenting 🤙
What a lovely little van 😍
Love the moon discs, they really suit it 😎
Thank you so much we like her. We are actually camping in her tonight. ,🙂
I’ve never heard of hubcaps being called moondiscs before!

Sadly I sold the van but I did put solar on it but I didn’t make a video. I can talk you through how to do it once you get on though if you would like

Thinking of upgrading to one of these...what are they like on the motorway for speed/accelerating etc...?

Brilliant I’ve just bought one needs some tlc great video of kit hill I may have to contact you for some advice 🤘
Absolutely, if I can help I will. Thanks for watching.👍
Lovely van, I have one similar but didn’t know that the front seat swivels.
If you look under the seat there is a flat metal lever that releases the seat to swivel. Thanks for watching the video.
What a great van Mark. Still need to get my sticker !
Thank you. Are you going to Nic's coffee and chill meet Wednesday? I'll try to get there.
@@FootstepsTyretracks Not sure who that is.. We haven't met anyone from the group yet but hope to soon. We are a bit shy lol
@@welsh443 message me your address and I'll pop one in the post
Did you have any issues with the Moon discs at all, eg. difficulty of attachment. I’d like to fit a set to my T4 Transporter.
They were a really good fit and for the duration I had the van they never budged. Really easy to fit. Any more questions just ask.
